Cardiff to be deducted points?

Well we needed Palace to fold to keep us on the verge; now we need Cardiff to fold to stay in it.............

Sadly I dont think enough sides will go into administration to keep our season alive. Fucking useless.

So as i said before Crystal palace and cardiff without points deducted make play offs.
Points deducted they dont. Effectively leaving the door open to a team finishing in 8th to make the prem.
HA ha ha what a laugh.

Still in 7th

and if Cardiff lose ten points we go into the weekend in 6th. We've got Bristol Plymouth, Peterborough and QPR coming up which are all guaranteed 3 points.

And think how bad other fans must feel compared to us. Would you want to be a Portsmouth fan or a fan of QPR, West Ham (now being prepared for relegation by the new board), Reading, and any Premiership team from 12th to the bottom who have nothing to play for season after season except avoiding relegation.

Ok so the football is crap at the moment and we probably need a shake up at the club but if the crowd get behind the team like they did on Saturday in the second half we still could be playimh for a play off place going into the final game.

We need some positive spin (I suppose all spin is positive) and a sense of where we are and what is going on around us. It could be far far worse and next season many clubs are going to find how how bad it can get - see west Ham as an example

Come on Blades (and in the immortal words of Delia Smith) let's be having you.

I appreciate the gee up and the optimism Wardlow but come on mate! Do we really take pride in getting into the playoffs by default. It would be shameful.

As for the sentence in bold - is that a serious statement? After losing 3 out of 4, one of which was a defeat to Preston who havent won in ages.........

Is any game a guaranteed 3 points? Not a chance.

Well if everyone in the league goes into admin we should be odds on for the play offs.

my cynical masterplan is now coming to fruition <strokes white cat>.. soon so many teams will be bust they'll have to invite us to join the premiership no matter where we are to make up the numbers.. we won't need promotion..
oh here are the accounts.. perhaps not

Maybe he means we are guaranteed 3 points from the four in total?

Never mind positive spin WW (see the last decade) I just want to know if we've paid our tax bill!

I'm just trying to be positive after a lot of negatives I've posted here and elsewhere over the last week.

I just think that if we can get the crowd back on board - no matter how crap the football - it just might make a difference.

But also look carefully at the text you highlighted - I didn't exactly say that it was us that was guaranteed three points ;)

 true. I appreciate the optimism all the same. Levels me out a bit. I just hope youre right, but we do it the right way and earn it!

Cardiff season ticket holder in the next office to me thinks their troubles are a lot more than administration.

the real reason why Pompey Cardiff et al

have escaped punishment so far is that the IR is desperate for money and if they go into admin I suppose they won't get what they are owed. So 'we'll gibe you another 10 days/3weeks' etc means these teams are going to escape any kind of punishment.

And if Wham go into admin they'll probably be allowed to have a penalty shoot out with the third from bottom team to go down and the ref for this 'play off' will be Sir Trevor 'impartial' Brooking.

However, in the case of Cardiff it might be that it would be racist to penalise the Welsh because they are a minority.

Long live the FA. Long live the Premiership. Long live FIFA.

The same applies to all non-football creditors. They just want to make the best of bad deal so will be (reluctantly) lenient with chuffs like Ridsdale and Storrie.

Unless, of course, you're Palace. If you're Palace then someone presses the bug red button marked "administration" even though it could reduce their claw-back. I bet he/she is a Charlton fan. :)

Have to say

I feel sorry for Palace and Warnock. They were making a decent go of it with a limited budget ane then wham, have this 10 point deduction. The only good thing is that they'll probably still finish above the pigs.
