stick kids and reserves in. A good game for George, whilst putting Howard back in on Saturday

We have 34 'players' so I am sure we can keep it fresh.

The only problem with gambling tonight for me is the reaction of the fans if we lose (both there tonight and on social media which, whether we like it or not, must set the mood of all the people who read and/or post at the next game i.e. if we lose and everyone on twitter, facebook and the various forums is moaning and negative, they'll be doing the same when they meet up with their mates before the match and the feeling of doom and gloom could quickly spread).

There are lots on here in various threads saying that they're not going tonight / couldn't give a toss etc. etc. but if we lose, watch the reaction / meltdown tonight. So for me, get the first team in and let them have some match practice tonight, hopefully ending in a morale improving win. Even better, let's go and get the game won by half time then rest one or two in the second half.

What's this about first team, I don't think we have a first team yet have we.?
He has said this team was already picked before the Saturday Match, with the exception of the new lad of course if he plays..

Why does everyone think that winning a few games in the cup would mean not performing well in the league ?
It doesn't have to be one or the other - it could be both ! !!
Because Warnie used it as an excuse for losing the POF and people still believe him, despite Burnley subsequently beating us in the POF after playing something like 60 games and using only 16 players.

We have got a first team. It's just that no-one knows what it is.
