I didn't realise there was seeding and a pre-draw for home and away, was it the same last season? If so, it passed me by completely and didn't we do well to overcome the bias.

It completely undermines the random nature of a knockout cup competition. I can see why it makes sense in a sport like tennis, where the same players are playing in tournaments week in week out and the organisers want the best players in the final, not knocking each other out in R1, but this is completely different.

I'm mad with rage!

Everyone should give a shit. They all did last season once we had a chance of a final. If the premier league pulls out so what? The championship clubs would have a better chance of reaching a Wembley final as would any league one club. If the FA had bottle they would continue to offer a euro place for the winners. Would the premier teams drop out then?
The Football league must decide the format. So they must grow some balls too. Stupid seeding system indeed!!
I'm not bothered what we win.I WANT TO WIN SOMETHING. Call it tin pot or whatever, I ain't bothered. Some Folks cynical nature mislead s themselves into believing they are not bothered but come that day of the prospect of silverware they will be there and if we win they will be as drunk as the rest if us even if it involves nothing more than the sheer pleasure of seeing our Captain raise the trophy.
