I think 35k, maybe a few k more (availability for future), but important that they are good 35k seats. If they go for a more expensive option on the kop, and completely rebuild it will of course cost a lost more, but extra revenue from it. I hate the extension plan personally. The kop was a quick job, and needs replacing IMO

What is wrong with the extension plan, it provides 90% of everything on the fans wish list, the only thing missing is 3 inch more knee room.
A total rebuild would be massively more expensive and massively more inconvenient with season ticket holders receiving stadium bans.
The laws of physics/ mathematics say that if a stand has more leg room then there’s must be less seats in the same area.
A steeper rake also means less rows of seats. A total rebuild would lower the capacity, so in the business world it makes no sense.
You could say make the area bigger to take more seats but really doubt fans will accept being so high and so far away that you need binoculars to see the players.
