I agree with the sentiment, but what we need are technically capable players where their first ability is to play the ball out from the back quickly.

It’s alright having a team of littlejohns or Michael bridges but if nobody can put the balls into them and they can’t control it the ball will come straight back

Not sure about Devante Cole - I don't think he has a great attitude or top 6 championship ability either, seen interviews where he clearly wants away from Fleetwood and sees the club as a stepping stone, that's the complete opposite mentality to what Wilder goes for

I think a lot of people don't credit Coutts enough. His pace coming back to defence in my opinion was the main reason we didn't concede many (or so my memory thinks, I could be wrong here) early in the season, his pace going forward was also a big factor in our form at the beginning of the season. Although players have come into the team I don't think they have the same turn of speed. Good players that they nay be they seem to lack pace. In the long term they may step up and get that turn of pace. I think fans must remember it took Coutts a while to adapt to the pace we played at in League 1.
