He (or wilder putting him on if you like) cost us that game. Properly comfortable until Campbell came off. Don’t trust wilder with money, last two striker signings Brewster and fucking Cannon. Better off saving that £10m for another tilt at promotion next season

I still think Wilder is a fantastic manager to rebuild a team from a low starting point - with limited funds……but his ability to identify players for big money is woeful I’m afraid. If I were the new owners - there is no way I’d be letting Wilder pay over £10 million for any player ever again.

Moore offers so might more which is saying something

The damage is already done and the last month will cost the new owners a lot.

Another Brewster. Fans will defend this signing to the hilt as Wilder has spent big money on it. Clueless in the transfer market given any money to spend

I thought it was a bad idea to put him on when it happened. As it turns out he did a decent job and was alot more involved than previous games. People are obviously upset and looking for someone to blame. Reality is we probably deserved to win tonight buy we lost. We've done the reverse plenty this season. We just have to swallow it and move on.

I watched Norwich at the weekend and in particular kept an eye on Sargent. He definitely looks like a ÂŁ10m+ forward. So intelligent in his play and when making runs. And he scored twice. I despair at Cannon, I really do. He's not in the same ballpark as Sargent. He's like Madine in concrete boots. Never, ever, give big money to Wilder to piss up the wall again. If he's still in charge, get a Director of Football in to oversee transfers. Fucks sake.

Seems a strange scapegoat for that performance. I prefer Campbell to him but you can't really blame him for the midfield getting dominated and defenders not marking their men.
Campbell was pinning them back with his skill and link up play. Taking Campbell off freed up the Leeds players to get up the pitch

Love to see him at the lane WHEN we go up

He had two decent touches which is two more than he's had since we signed him.

If there was a game where he needed to prove he was worth ÂŁ10m, this was it. Instead he looked like a ÂŁ500k gamble.

It's not his fault we massively overpaid for him, but I'd be more confident in goals if we had Gary Madine back.

Because his lack of presence, ability, or just about anything allowed Leeds to pick the ball up and dominate. If Moore was fit would have been a much better substitution at the stage of the game when we looked comfortable

Replace the T in your name with an F

I'm not going to tear him down too much, but Campbell is a lot better than him at pretty much everything.
This. I get Campbell is injury prone and so you can’t just flog him for a season as he’ll just break down as we’ve already seen, but the fact our £10m+ striker is worse than our free transfer in every department really highlights that it wasn’t the smartest investment.

Campbell just suits our style…it’s as simple as that.
He works so hard and he’s the only physical threat we’ve got.

If Campbell could play 90 minutes regularly and wasn't injury prone he'd be playing for a team like Brighton. He'd be worth a lot more than ÂŁ10 million.

Exactly this - Campbell is the best striker we have at playing the way we set up. We’ve essentially spent 10m for a striker who isn’t capable of playing this way. The drop off is frightening. For that kind of clover we should’ve signed a striker who’s capable of playing how Campbell plays.
