Cannon

It’s actually amazing how Wilder does wonders with these freebie/journeymen type and makes them all so much better than our ‘big money’ signings.

There’s something in it, in the way he manages or whatever else it may be. But Cannon really is completely ineffective and it is a concern. What is he actually good at?

Could have looked abroad for someone a lot better and cheaper. Still early days though so shouldn’t moan yet

Nothing

You cant score on bread crumbs. dont know if hes not the right fit or we dont play to his strengths

I do fear that having Canon on the bench means he's always coming on ahead of Brewster upfront. Whatever people want to say about Brewster, he's quicker and puts himself about far more, and if we're one up and looking for an out ball in the channel he's far more likely to get on the end of it.

Scoring goals seen as though he’s top goal scorer.

The same old faces come out to slate our players.

Campbell missed a one on one and an open net.

Yet Cannon makes a poor pass and gets shouted out on here.

If Moore had the first half Campbell had he would have been executed at HT.

Cannon would never have missed those chances. The primary reason being is that he lacks Campbell's strength, speed and nous to get into those positions in the first place.

He's good at neutering our attack and giving the opposition confidence

But no he's not had much help much of the time. When OHare and McCallum are 2 of the 3 attacking mids behind you it's going to be a struggle

I think Cannon will start on Tuesday as we will be resting a few for the derby and Campbell will be only used for the last half an hour if needed.

He won’t get much more help though as Hamer will probably be out .. I’d try him and Moore in a two up top personally.

And yet he’s out scored him this season!

Don’t let facts get in the way of your opinion!

Not for us he hasn't. In fact, he's done the square root of fuck all.

Edit: That's not fair, he has a handy assist. But he's been dreadful at the Lane every time, including the game for Stoke.
