I'm reliably informed that this is real. Can we spell or do Wendys have too much time on their hands between drawing games?

I think it's genuine. Buts it's more a case of reading assuming someone actually bothered to proof it and sign it off.

I'm guessing Blackman or Lundstram with CCV and Stearman as possibilities.

Can we spell?
Can we hell.

It says United, thats the main thing, the blocky typeface doesn't help with all those Es and Fs so close together ...... I feel a bit sorry for the printshop.

Its a good job we can play football then, isn't it?

We miss an F off a calendar...Wendy missed off the entire 9 letters of the City's name for 62 years.

Given the amount of numbskulls these days who think that 'as well' and 'a bit' are single words and believe it's acceptable to start sentences with lower-case letters, I'd say that the future of the English language is fucked.

If I ever take charge of this rapidly degenerating country, 'Grammar Police' will no longer simply be a figure of speech, they will be an executive body.

Be very careful with your grammar and spelling for the next few weeks... We're all watching.

The majority of people have always been semi-literate, it's just become far more apparent since the Internet. When I worked on building sites most of the people I worked with struggled to spell anything more than their own name and address.
