Given the amount of numbskulls these days who think that 'as well' and 'a bit' are single words and believe it's acceptable to start sentences with lower-case letters, I'd say that the future of the English language is fucked.

If I ever take charge of this rapidly degenerating country, 'Grammar Police' will no longer simply be a figure of speech, they will be an executive body.

I'm a bit more Zen about these things.
