Come on Blades, if it was at Hillsborough they'd be doing a beamback in the piggy fanzone for the millions who missed out on tickets, piss poor from us not to sell this one out. Ticket office, shite. Loyalty points, shite. Purchasing history, shite.

Abdullah out.

It doesn't matter how many people are there, it'll be a sell out because Sheffield City Council and their safety minions will decide how many people can go

One thing is for sure, they will ruin it by being thousands under capacity and kill the atmosphere of a rock concert stone dead

I've seen Motley Crue before, never again, one of the most phoned in performance bands I've seen. Also I highly doubt any of the younger generation (apart from an odd few) will care about either bands.

Luckily got tickets to see Def Leopard at Leadmill, that'll be a the gig

If the younger generation don't know Motley Crue or Def Leppard then their parents have failed them.

You going to the Leadmill one over the Lane? And you're a Blade? I thought they put that on for pigs that wouldn't come to our place.

No they put that on for The Leadmill, which is potentially shutting down very soon because the leasehold has been bought by a shite company who are planning on kicking the current team out who have been there for decades.

Other things happen outside of football.

And yes I would match rather go to gig at small venue then a massive stadium, I think 99% of gig goers would, especially for someone like Def Leppard who haven't played this size of venue in my lifetime

I'm only winding you up, I know what the Leadmill gig is for, and it's an amazing gesture.
I would have liked to have got tickets to that as well.
I just can't miss one of my favourite bands playing at one of my favourite places.

I just got a little defensive as this is my 3 worlds all colliding and I simply.
Can.
Not.
Wait.

My bad,

Still halfway through my morning coffee, it's too early for sarcasm.

Hope you have fun either way! Def are one of the best bands I've seen live!

Cant wait i am heading over Monday , first time seeing them in Sheffield, i have a ticket for Dublin in July as well... any idea if any late night bars will open on Monday ?

The support band Nivas , is the bass player rick savage , his sons band , they are not my cup of tea at all but really looking forward to seeing Leppard n Crue .. pity Mick no longer playing ...

The Leadmill team had the chance to buy the lease but tried to do it on the cheap. Their poor decision. The team who owns it now is behind Electric Brixton so they're hardly "shite". The venue may change name and have a spruce up but it'll remain a music venue.

Back to Mötley Crüe...

I've heard of both bands. I I don't think I could say I have ever heard any of their songs I certainly couldn't sing or even hum the time of one! The prices are crazy too. No wonder it isn't sold out £120 for standing tickets. How many of their fans can do that now. They've all got to be pushing 60!?? 90 for okay seated

Going with two of my daughters , Poison or Thunder would have been better support acts , Poison did a few in America with them and was disappointed they not coming here ☹️
