Here we are, let's look on the positive side.
Perhaps selling all the pitch off as grazing rights to the nearest dairy farm will mean we don't have to spend any money on fertiliser.
Perhaps replacing all the pie stands with a buffalo on a spit will save on staff - carve it yourself.
Perhaps having the players knit their own kits will save on having their names printed on the back.
Perhaps by requesting that all fans bring a big fuck-off torch we will save on the leccy bill for the floodlights, which we can sell, and then we can spend the money on some Reggae-Reggae Sauce for the director's box.
Perhaps by making the players all live in tents at the Academy we can save the planet by not having lots of flash cars zooming everywhere all week. They can ride to the ground on them three-seater tandems like The Goodies rode.
Perhaps instead of sending players out on loan we can send them off looking for strange lost islands in the Pacific Ocean, hoping to discover a new species of bird, or an island full of dinosaurs.
Perhaps we might just look on the bright side now and again, but my money's on Billy Sharp finding a living T Rex first.

Hi Len, to tell you the truth I have no idea how to use this forum so I hope you can read this reply. I have posted before but my words seem to disappear into the ether, perhaps it's not such a simple set-up as the old site for us idiots.

There's always plenty of bad stuff to get miserable about in football.. I'm not going to be gloomy when Hendo gets 3, we win in the dying moments of the game and 3 points are added to our tally. I'll save my gloom for other occassions.. like losing the playoffs or being relegated!

aye, makes you wonder. All that free flowing stuff we were going to play when Henderson was missing. Wasn't Ched going to come into his own then?
Get Sharp back, play just a shade more football, and offload Evans before more financial damage is done.

A little bit harsh considering he was only missing for one game.
I think i'm in the minority in that i still feel Ched has the ability to score a lot of goals for this club.

He just needs to start bagging like Ched and his confidence will be there.
Plus it sounded like two of the goals were laid on by Reid and Super Wardy, the other possibly Quinn... but it means that the supply is getting there from the flanks

Glad i'm not alone on it; i just hope he has the strnegth of character to push on past the criticism.
