Daily Star (I know it's crap and I don't buy it) are reporting we are willing to break the bank to sign him.

I prefer the report above.
 
Looks like they are putting things in place before selling him, which makes sense.

I reckon he's coming and he's gonna do really really well. I just have a feeling about this.
 
Jerome is just what what we need to go on and win this league. For all of the excellent work the Ships has done, I wonder how many we could have scored if we had a big powerful striker that can keep up with danny or kabba. Ships has done us proud, but he's nowhere near as mobile as Jerome or even akinbiyi. I think 2/2.5m is a fair price for sought after 23 year old, afterall, we could always sell in the summer if everything went pear-shaped
 
Look at my poor attempt to make jerome a united player is any one actually good at these thing who can put a united shirt on him?

Sam Hammam has put a price on Cameron Jerome’s head saying he will not leave City for less than £3.5m.

Hammam spoke to fans on the coach trip to Carmarthen for the 2-1 FAW Premier Cup defeat last night and told them “it will take a top Premier League club to sign Cameron Jerome – and they’ll have to pay around £4m, maybe £5m, but not less than £3.5m.”

Hammam insisted the club is not in a position where they will be forced to cash-in as was the case with Robert Earnshaw and that nobody would get the striker for less than Cardiff’s valuation.

The Bluebirds owner also revealed that Sheffield United’s “2m bid for Jerome had been refused.

“We saved them (United) a lot of money on the cost of their phonecall because it lasted three seconds,” he said. “They are a nice little club but that is what they are. I don’t think they have the wherewithal or the stature to do it.”

:mad: what a cock end.....sounds like he's just tauting him to prem clubs, which as I said b4, will prob have an adverse effect. I hope all the prem clubs think fuk that.

But what he may also be doing is...he knows that we really want him, badly. And we have already put in an improved offer, so he may be thinking, if I turn them down again and say no chance, they're bound to come back with a bigger offer, which we'll take straight away.

As his price tag seems to be getting higher every day.
 
He's hoping for prem interest and to drive our price up.
 
Trouble is we always seem to pay high prices and get nowt if they leave.

If he's worth £3.5m how much is Jags, Kabba or Webber worth?

NOBODY will wanna sign Jerome for that amount of money, not even Chelsea!!
 

no way board would pay 3.5m for jerome...even if they put a bid in for that amount of money that sam bloke will just keep upping his price:mad:
