Seriously though I think the loaning club needs to have confidence in the loanee club and in particular its manager. Don't think any top club would have had much confidence in Adkins and Clough did not seem to want loanees - he just bought any player he fancied. Coady who was loaned to us was brought in by Wier. Surely now the top clubs will have recognised that CW is a rising star and would be happy to trust loaning their young players to SUFC plus of course our academy has (I understand) a very good reputation. Let's see what happens next season.

There’s zero chance of that. Wilder said quite clearly, “ he wasn’t near the team”. That means, he didn’t fit in. So he’s fitted out. And that’s where he’ll stay.
