Yeah, it seems that the ITKers are now ex-ITKers.Gone quiet at Heckys request? He openly told all these ITK wannabees to STFU in his interview did he not?
Just sign the cunt
Fuck. It worked with Hamer. My dad's mates uncles milkman's sister shops at the same Waitrose as Archer. Apparently he's seen this post and the deals OFF.
Well we can only bluff forest until we walk out ont pitch then they might notice if he’s not thereUnless of course he knows he won't be available and is bluffing Forest
I'm critical of how fast we work at times, but the Hamer deal does go to show we do have the ability to move quickly at times.Leeds fan mate of mine saying they're making bids for him, so if we're serious about this it's something we need to get sorted ASAP
You'd think if we've been speaking to them about prices and negotiating, then we should be far enough along to not need to worry - but stillI'm critical of how fast we work at times, but the Hamer deal does go to show we do have the ability to move quickly at times.
Archer will be a even more sought after prospect though.
Also, fuck Leeds.

OR…..they need to raise funds from other over stocked areas that they’re not going to need.Villa have just lost Buendia and Mings to what look like season-ending injuries.
On that basis, they might not want to let too many out until nearer the end of the window when they know the shape of their squad.
I hope we have contingencies in place because I think Archer will be an expensive and complicated deal.
We have to pick our battles. Apparently buybacks and sell ons are a big problem at the moment. Yes Coventry will probably never be in a position to buy Hamer back but just think how well Archer would have to do for Villa to buy him in 2 or 3 years.By all accounts, Hamer deal got done quick because Coventry weren't nobheads about it
I'd guess that Mings won't make a difference to the Archer deal, Buendia plays as a winger/attacking mid I think and they're set to replace him with another player:Villa have just lost Buendia and Mings to what look like season-ending injuries.

It is , yet gain , worrying.Considering we’ve just fielded a side that wouldn’t get into the Championship playoffs, it’s a pretty quiet Monday on the transfer rumour front.
Or for once we got our arse in gear, and offered what they were looking for, and Leeds didn’tBy all accounts, Hamer deal got done quick because Coventry weren't nobheads about it
Not quick enoughIt was quiet with Gus Hamer last week though and just exploded into action, we managed to get that deal done quickly, hopefully also with Archer and Doyle this week.
I agree entirely but your sentiment but I think the team we fielded Saturday might even be in danger of relegation from the Championship.Considering we’ve just fielded a side that wouldn’t get into the Championship playoffs, it’s a pretty quiet Monday on the transfer rumour front.
Nothing as of yet, just initial talks from last weekCome on then Rifleman / Rocket Man who’s the daddy? Who’s got the latest on Archer?
With the player or club?Nothing as of yet, just initial talks from last week
Totally agree. Agent has been given a new mission to spread disinformation. He’s definitely changed tack recently. Was steering everyone away from the Hamer links and even did a detailed tweet about Smallbone. I reckon they’re still using him but he’s under different orders.
That’s just hearsay, pure and simple. With the player or club?
Did I hear/read right that the buyback was the issue?
If the manager has one principal target it's up to the board to pretend we have ten targets. That's the art of negotiation. That was always a weird criticism for me. Telling on themselves.I understand what you mean by "trial by social media" but I wasn't particularly blaming the board, just pointing out that last time our strategy was too focused on individual players which led us to overpay for the ones we signed. I much prefer this new approach and shows that the owner has learnt from past failings. We wouldnt be buying Brewster for 22m with this new approach even if the money was there as even at the time it felt like a risk. Brewster, along with others, is the legacy of a manager who kept threatening to quit unless he got the players he demanded which led us to paying far too much money. The board should be praised for changing their approach to a more structured one.
