Calve........season long loan!

Don't think he is a free agent. I read somewhere that he is under contract at Nancy, but they have an agreement to let him leave. Don't know whether they can't afford his wage or something, but seemed legit whe I read it!

Translation:

Calve loaned to Sheffield United

Under contract with AS Nancy-Lorraine until June 2012, the right side of 26 years Jean Calve was loaned for a season at Sheffield United (Championship, the second tier of English). Jacques Rousselot said that the agreement was found "on Thursday morning"and that the ASNL however continue"to take over part of the player's salary."
 
So he played for us on trial over the summer... Did anyone see him play?

Also, I wonder if Blackwell rejected him, but Speed saw something to work with?

So if he's a Nancy footballer, shouldn't this have something to do witth the Gay footballer thread that was about a few weeks ago?:D

He can't be very good at gayism. According to his Fiche, he doesn't have a single But to his name.

I can't help feeling len's not going to like this one, another no mark not good enough for any other club in Europe.

I wouldn't worry about it. If a thread about somebody wearing Dangermouse pants passes as Blades Chat I'm sure you'll get away with posting that in here! :confused:
 

Children, children, I know you miss me but what's there been to say? It was all pretty much said about Speed coming in.
As for the Nancy Boy, if he's a full back I doubt it's humanly possible for him to be worse than either Ertl or Tayls.
Then again...

It was about the webmeister of this Blades forum wearing said pants when being interviewed. What's wrong with that?:D

Just seen Calve at chaucer school asking how good there g.c.s.e french teacher is as he would like to put his younger brother in school there.
 
Wasn't there a similar story in the summer about Bartley's and his brother. Plus aren't all the schools closed??

Yes but bartley decided against as the school was not getto enough for his brother the school's are closed but you can still look round if you are a pupil looking at going to the school.

Wouldnt he be more interested in how good the english teacher is?
 
Anyone know when the deadline is to enable him to be available for Sunday? Is it tomorrow at mid-day or was it still today as normal?
