Callum robinson

Fair play to Callum, seems like West Brom suits him more and hopefully for him he will do his career no harm by being there. I was hoping they would drop points today but watching them dry bum Chelsea while Lampard squirms in his technical area is kinda enjoyable.

Thiago Silva well past it, horror defending. Another topic, where will this seasons first draw come, amazingly, not a drawn match so far.

We don’t have strikers that are quick enough to capitalise on chances like that, other than Burke.

McBurnie, Sharp and McGoldrick don’t have the pace to pick that ball up and drive into the area and finish without someone catching up with them.
Everyone said he was slow though when he was here 🤣

Typical Chelsea, spend 100m plus on strikers and tje defence is still awful.

Also how bad is Tammy Abraham....dont anyone ever again dare suggest him as a potential loan player !

Must have been the games you didn't see. Would have got more goals than mcbernie given the chance. Fact
Robinson started the season as our starting striker, the reason mcburnie was given the chance was because robinson didn't take it. He had 2 good moments in a United shirt.

Said it last week pal, we never gave Robinson a chance but when we did he showed something but some seem to think he's not a prem striker and is last in line to who we have already loool.

Was criminal that we let him leave on loan when we we did not have strength in depth and to sell him without giving him a chance is a joke.

How many times do I have to tell you that he started 9 games? Every time you mention him he's started fewer games. 9 starts and 16 appearances is a fair crack and he didn't take it for us.

And I didn't say he was cack, I said he was cack for us, which he was.

Come on lad, where still givin mcbernie a chance from then. What can you see what I can't..

Robinson obviously isn’t shite he went on loan to WBA was there best player 2nd half of the season got them promoted

Not to be pedantic but I wouldn't say he was their best player. I remember the majority of their fans were less than keem about signing over the summer and only summoned up any enthusiasm when they figured they could offload Burke. I'm sure those same fans are ecstatic but it's too early to say if he's now going to transform into an amazing player. If anything, he's mirroring how ge started for us. Played alright, came out with a goal against top opposition and we all got excited over what was next. Then he just disappeared.

This one game doesn’t prove anything either way, you do understand that don’t you?

He has played well for West Brom and done a damn sight more than Billy and co it takes the piss really.

Wilder said he would never play or keep people on sentiment yet he has clearly done that yet Robinson did not get a proper chance in our team.

Despise Lampard and his money burning feckin tinpot club, they deserve all they get.

9pm
He was. Had lots of games early on and other than 45 mins at Chelsea did the square root of f all. Weak, hiding and totally ineffective. Scored two tonight but Wilder was right to move on. He realised he made a mistake. Ditto with Freeman. Just worrying we spent 13-14 million for no return at all really.

Looks like we've dropped a massive bollock to me but I guess we will see

He’s played well for West Brom...for 45 minutes.

He did a damn sight less than Billy and co for us last season.

How many of you who are popping up to say we shouldn’t have got rid honestly thought that Robinson was the answer to our lack of goals?

I'll give Fat Frank another 5 games, if he loses one of them he's done

i stood by robinson and got heavily slagged off on here, the comments on here at the time were disrespectful and laughable.

We have a small club mentality where players just have to run around and put a shift in to be classed as good enough, if your talented but dont run around like a headless chicken then no chance. we are in the prem now chaps and we need players who have a bit of magic. Always thought he was a decent technical player and today hes proving it.

Our style of play clearly didnt suit him, maybe if we tried to play the ball on the floor more we might stand a better chance of utilising any creativity we have.

We have burke now so lets see what he can do, i was not impressed with the swap deal initially but burke showed glipses of something in the last game.

I'm glad for robbo just frustrated that we couldnt get the best out of him.

WBA play to his strengths. We didn’t. There’s no comparison.

Because he's playing for West Brom and not us. Some players just suit other systems, he didn't suit ours.

It's like complaining that someone's sold the Cessna when you don't know how to fly.

What's your definition of a proper chance? I think nine starts and half a season is a fair chance personally.
