CONFIRMED Callum O'Hare signs on a four-year deal

My close Cov mates, who are generally itk, know nothing of this (they told me about Hamer) so it's definitely not happening 😂🙄

They also said he could do a lot better but I told them they're a tinpot club blah blah..

He could and will do a lot better

I very much doubt that he will come here - why the fk would you it’s a circus and stinks

Classic. But he’s left the club, so I don’t see how they’d probably know? Unless he’s telling the players. Quite liked Cov last season, but then I realise their fans absolutely hate us. Although, when I was in Cologne for the Euros all the Cov fans I spoke to were pretty neutral and just said Hamer should’ve gone to a better club.

It will all come reyt, I’ve written to Father Christmas. O’Hare is coming, BBD is thinking about it, Cooper in goal, Hamer is staying, there’s much to be happy about.
 
Would be a superb bit of business and a real coup.
I do t understand why he would want us, but there may well be more to it for him on a personal level.
Perhaps the expected premier league interest hasn’t materialised as he had hoped, perhaps an offer or two with no assurances of playing time or a likely struggle next season aren’t his idea of fun.
Maybe having talked to the manager he’s been sold the club? We know that while Wilder perhaps lacks in emotional awareness he’s a salesman and makes up for in how he can talk the game. This lad may well be very receptive to that kind of manager?

It may simply be down to cold hard cash- this is perhaps the most surprising possibility, but if he’s our number 1 target, then having a clean slate this summer may well have freed the funds to throw at a special player…huge signing on fee and a huge pay rise…this could be the deal that sets the lad up for life. And while it could be a step back for his career if it doesn’t go well he’s still at the age where he can get another move and turn it around.

Personally, I think if he arrives here, is alongside Blaster, Hamer and some of the other names we apparently have lined up we will have some power going forwards and he will do very well.

Now , what you’ve said I have taken as a promise . If it doesn’t happen I will never trust anyone or anything ever again .

On your say so I have just ordered 4 new away shirts with BBD , Hamer , O’Hare and Coopers names on for the grandkids - and I don’t spend money lightly - especially on other people

There’s two pretty huge stumbling blocks in this deal the prince and his demands, he wants (and we have accepted) a £5m signing on fee.

If the prince sanctions it we could be in business as early as Tuesday.

Possibly could do better if Premier League came calling. He's a Villa fan so I'm sure his ambition has never been to play for Coventry City that's for sure.

Problem with Hamer is he has a very meetable release clause. Think it's around 18m-20m. Club like Wolves wouldn't think twice about the fee if they had room for him. That's the main issue. Hopefully O'Hare likes us more because of Hamer and Hamer then likes us more because of O'Hare

Because others who are closer to the real detail and know what’s happening clearly don’t feel the same way about us
