Best game all season for me.

Joint MOTM with Seriki.

Especially when he moved to RW and JRS moved centrally for a bit.

I'd have said that up to 80 minutes but Seriki seemed to ease up, whereas O'Hare just kept going.

MoM and his best game in a United shirt for me.

The kid's got one hell of an engine. Hardly ever gets subbed or rested but he's always up and down the pitch for the full game. Pleased he off off the mark but that apart, I always thought he contributed far more than he got credit for. That's four games running he's been involved with one of our goals.

Yep, a strong game for him today. Even if Oxford were like boys against men.

I'm just surprised we didn't sub him off in 77th minute for a rare breather. Just to look after him a bit, even if he's super fit.

Really good game with the ball tonight and as important off the ball as ever. I still think there’s more to come in terms of final output though. Not everyone can be N’Diaye but Callum’s first touches, through balls under pressure, and 1-1 dribbles just lack that little bit of accuracy / sharpness, and attacks do break down with him more than we’d like.

I appreciate he’s working in tight spaces at the top of the pitch, and I’d prefer him to keep trying things. But can’t help feeling when is confidence and sharpness is right up, he’ll win a lot of games for us. Hopefully the performance v Oxford gives him that push.

Not a really a criticism, more a comment that I think there’s more to come.

I don’t think he did any more than he has been doing in most games.

That’s not a criticism.

Getting on the end of a tap in mean people view his performance differently.

The lad gets through some serious mileage, constantly presses. Gets the ball down and looks to link up play. Guilty of giving it away or holding on to it a bit too long on occasion but overall he’s been underrated by blades fans.

Fantastic player, I'm delighted we have him.

Never shies away from wanting the ball.
Fantastic press, willing runner. Cov fans believe that the reason Robinsball faded off is because they lost his press and have failed to replace it.
Likeable, hard working, humble kid. You get the impression he's good to have around the place.
That little bit of technical quality on the ball.

Some of the workrate, pressing and application of a Baldock, with a smidge of daftness and social glue of a McBurnie. That's quite a player to have.

He was the one player I wanted us to sign this summer, and couldn't believe that we managed it.

Likewise, Gus was the player the summer before and couldn't believe we managed that either.

We're really fortunate to have both and any side in the division would have them in a heartbeat. Tells you all you need to know.

Some Coventry fans maybe, but not 90% of those who come on here telling us he hasn't been missed and that they don't care anyway.

I can't fault his work rate, but as a team going for 1st place, should we not be looking for a more prolific finisher in the JTW so O'Hare can be more of a sub than an automatic 1st choice?

2 goals and 3 assists from 23 appearances is fairly mediocre.

He's not a striker so why judge him on his finishing? he should be judged on the chances he creates (which isn't great either but at least that's what he's in the team for).

I've barely seen a hint of what he was showing regularly at Coventry. There's barely been a single piece of magic from him all season

It looks like a perfect case of United knocking all the flair out of a player in the way we used to talk about when Blackwell was manager

Any team going for the top 2 in the championship needs a number 10 capable of much, much more than anything OHare has shown since signing

If he's still in the team after January the window will have been a failure

Negatives. He lacks pace to get away. Hasn't contributed enough in assists and play making. Positives. Works hard to get back and tackle. Surprisingly clever under a high ball. I think Hamer should be in the 10 spot and O'Hare coming on as a sub. While not setting the place on fire he has contributed but we need to look at how we are setting up and linking up.

have to agree hamer would be so much better in that number 10 position than o'hare but hes been used wide left because weve nobody else for that position once brereton arrives i would definetly put hamer to the number 10 role ive also been dissapointed with o'hare but dont think the position we play him in or the slow build up style of football suits his game

Hamer's been disappointing as well and shouldn't be above being dropped

He needs to hit 20 G + A minimum to justify the rest of his game, which is extremely wasteful and underwhelming. Never in a million years a PL player

I’ve got to be honest and say I like COH he would be one of the first names on the team sheet for me.

Fantastic attitude and awesome work rate … 8 or 9 things will go wrong for him but he doesn’t let that bother him … he keeps trying and he keeps showing

He is also vital if we want to apply pressure on the ball in the attacking third

I would drop others way before him

I like O'Hare for one half of his game, and I think there is a place for him in this team. However, his biggest negative for me is the way he gives the ball away. He does it A LOT. That's not necessarily a massive issue for a number 10, Hamer does as well.

Usually though, players in that role give the ball away often because they're trying to create something. O'Hare on the other hand gives it away under the most pathetic circumstances, he holds on to the ball too long, doesn't even get a pass away - never mind attempt a killer pass, and then gets brushed off the ball or falls over under the slightest bit of pressure. He's embarrassingly weak on the ball, to the point I don't think I've ever seen anyone as bad at it in my whole time watching football. I don't say that lightly, it's actually quite weird how weak he is.

Have to disagree on the the underwhelming bit. There have been games where he has been below par but there are more games where he has played well and contributed to goals. Hamer was one of our better players last season.

Hamer has easily been the best of our front 4, but he still hasn't been great for much of the time. I was expecting much more this season.

Having said that his goals and assists return is pretty good, so as long as he's doing that I'm happy. If the other three could hit form and/or start producing the same returns as Hamer, we'd be on to a winner.

Have to bear in mind the assists stat can be hampered by other players ability to finish. Poor lads job is to set up the likes of Brewster & O"Hare.

I think as a team we aren't really in sync with each other when attacking and we take too many touches to flow effectively. Campbell is our most predictable forward. He gets into positions to score and is easier to pick out.

While I like Moore the 3 behind him don't work off him effectively.

Well we can forget about pressing defenders high up the pitch with the pilsbury dough boy lolling around up there
