Not sticking up for him in any way what so ever, he's been stupid, you never hit women, for that he wants punishing more than sweeping up in the park too.
However, shouldn't the club be educating these boys more, yes we were all young and full of beer when we were younger, (even these days too!) but not many had the responsibilities of having a recognised face, and hated by one side of the city. They shouldn't put themselves in the position of allowing other drunk kids having a pop. Especially in this case when his older brother sharing the benefit of his experience.
If you need "educating" so you don't go around hitting women, or anyone else unless you are defending yourself for that matter, then you're a right fucking bell-end in my view. It is a simple case of morals and common sense, not education.
Saying the club should educate the players is symptomatic of what is wrong with society at the moment. No fucker wants to take responsibility for their own actions. Everyone seems to want to (and be able to, to an extent) pass the buck. I'm only 27, so I'm hardly harping back to the good old days, or an old school chap, but young people today do anything and everything to avoid taking responsibility for something and their parents help them do it, blaming schools, their friends, anyone but themselves.
"I was too drunk", "so-and-so told me to do it", "well I was never taught any better". It runs right the way through from footballers thinking they'll get off with indescretions because they're special, right down to scrubbers expecting free money because they shouldn't be expected to work for it. Somebody else should do that for them.
Callum McFadzean is proving to be just another prick in a society full of them.
Oh, and regarding his car, it is an A8, not an R8. Still about £50k's worth. Surprising choice for a footballer, though. Very much an old man's car.
