He's always been like it and the "wrong crowd" have managed to keep him out of trouble with the law and keep him under control until now. They were attempting to do this again but he was charged due to the domestic situation to which has already been alluded.

Seriously though, another outward sign of how bad the attitude is within the camp. I know it isn't representative of every member of the playing staff, but the sooner we weed out these negative influences from the squad the better. I also won't have the "i'm young/made a mistake/won't do it again" bullshit either. If at 20 you think hitting women is a learning curve then you are, put simply, a twat.

Hitting a woman is bad enough. But to me, headbutting one just aggravates it further. It is a an especially violent, cowardly way of attacking someone (if you are the aggressor without doing as a means to defend yourself)

For committing the crime he is a twat. If this doesn't result in a moment of reflection to make him a better person he is an outright twat.

He really should concentrate on being a professional athlete and make the most of what he has got, because in my opinion he ain't that good other than providing a bit of bluster.

I hope he's on no more than a distinctly average third division contract. McCabe worried me with his hands off our youth we're tying them up to build around statement a while ago. Odds suggest no more than a couple of a youth team make it as pros and they might already be playing. I heard someone on here say McFadz had a hundred grand Audi which makes me think either we've offered him a lot more than he's worth or he's still living with his mum and is determined to spend all his wages with no thought for what future he might have.
 
I'm pretty sure a guy on footballer's wages could get a car like that on credit.

If i was Clough i would send him out on loan up in the Highlands League or something.
 
If I was Clough I'd give him the option of a loan to the Highlands League or a release from his contract, without a pay off.
 



Well looking at the address in the article, he must be living with parents. While it isn't a bad area, it's not an area you'd want to live in on a footballers salary. I also know he is from there originally and is usually spotted at the Belfry quite often.

He's added to the sack list:

Howard, Westlake, Williams, Collins, Doyle, Flynn, Murphy, McFadzean, Porter, King & Ironside.

Not sticking up for him in any way what so ever, he's been stupid, you never hit women, for that he wants punishing more than sweeping up in the park too.

However, shouldn't the club be educating these boys more, yes we were all young and full of beer when we were younger, (even these days too!) but not many had the responsibilities of having a recognised face, and hated by one side of the city. They shouldn't put themselves in the position of allowing other drunk kids having a pop. Especially in this case when his older brother sharing the benefit of his experience.

How do we know they don't? But that the young 'uns don't take one blind bit of notice?

Like the apprentice at work - they're 18, invincible, know what's best and more importantly, think they're cleverer than you are.
 
How may more of these fuck-knuckles do we have to put up with until we get some decent lads who can actully play football a bit?

Jeez, the game is well and truly fucked if third division footballers (with a handful of games even at that level) are not living in the real world.

Best prepare the gallows if, by some absolute miracle, he actually proves to be a top player.

My sack list is tongue in cheek, I don't think it would work in real life as well as it would in Champ Manager!

But I would seriously want those players moved on within the next 12 months. I would build a team around:

GK: Long, ???
RB: McMahon, ???
CB: Maguire, ???, ???
LB: Hill, ???
RM: ???, ???
CM: Cuvelier, McGinn, Baxter
LM: ???, ???
CF: Miller, ???, Di Giralomo, Taylor (backup)

Perhaps some youth can fill some of those gaps, I hope so, I just don't enter the first team setup and start bashing women.
