Whilst strictly not blades related, I am a blade and hopefully you are to
In these very weird times certain organizations need your assistance more than ever
DKMS do an amazing job at saving lives by finding suitable matches for people awaiting bone marrow and stem cells in the fight against cancer
Whilst the current climate is upon us tests have dropped dramatically
We can help change this, it’s so easy and simple, go to DKMS website and click the button, then go through some simple questions and they send you out a kit which again is very simple to do, seal the swab back into the envelope and post back, that’s it you will then go onto the list
You could literally save someone’s life and as I call it the butterfly effect from this simple act is massive.
I am currently on the list awaiting donors but not doing this for me but for all of the thousands of people awaiting a transplant to help them have a chance and give them a glimmer of light in the darkness they and their friends & family live with all day everyday
So please help, you currently have time so fill in 5 minutes of it doing this today

I've been registered with Anthony Nolan Trust, which is similarly part of the international registry, since I was at uni. I was once a partial match for someone seeking a donor, but ultimately not called to donate as I wasn't a close enough match.

Wasn't doubting you, just seems strange to turn a possible donor down at 55 if you remain on the register til 61.
