I'm sure we'll lose Jags in the next few days.

Thanks for the memories and good luck to him I say.

Hope we can use the money wisely.

all the best Jags, make sure you go to a club that you'll be in the first team. If you dont unfortunatley i think you'll be back down in the CCC in a couple of seasons.

Just make sure that the grass IS greener.

All the best to you though

Be interesting to see where he goes actually, whispers out of goodison suggest that they aren't as keen as first thought.

I suppose Wigan and Bolton would be happy to splash 4 million on him.

All the best Jags, i'll be keeping an eye on his progression.

Everton boss David Moyes is ready to pay £4m for Sheffield United's Phil Jagielka and will also bid for West Brom's Jason Koumas. (Daily Mail)

so looks like Everton are back in the hunt too.

Cheers Jags. Thanks for giving a shit. Good luck, wherever you go. Once a Balde, always a Blade. (With the exception of that twat Terry Curran.)

I could think of more words to describe Terry Currant, but I spose Twat is definative. :D

Good look Jags wherever you go mate you are a blade and always will be.

Hope we get your team in the cup next season, then the fans at the lane can give you a reception you deserve.

Nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Wasnt it the hand of Jags that gave Wigan the penalty?

Good luck to him though

Yep good luck to him and whoever else goes with him.

gd luk to Jags werever he goes i hear that everton and wigan have offered £4million and bolton have offered £5million not sure how true this is though...hope england b are keepin an eye on him aswell :)

I hope wherever he goes he gets the first team football that he deserves. Good luck Jags.

heard a rumour he was going to boro or everton for £5.7 mil

unlikely but more like his realistic price

From Sporting Life...............

The Merseysiders have moved quickly following the Blades' confirmation as a Championship club after their failed arbitration bid to make the Premier League reconsider the Carlos Tevez case.

That relegation triggered a clause in Jagielka's contract that means he can leave for around £4million.

The Toffees have now agreed a deal with United for the England B international, and he was expected at Goodison Park on Wednesday afternoon after agreeing personal terms.

I heard that.

I think nearer £6mil or more is about right for Jags.

fair play to him.... done his time here for us, and having tasted the prem he wants more.

as me dad said, its not a heartbreaking move.... hes seen bigger players go from the lane.

4 million? what a ridcolous clause! Good luck to the lad

what was it that he said?

'sheffield united is in my heart and always will be'

true blade

All the best at Everton, unless they play us of course.
Cheers for everything (except the handball, but thats one thing in 100's so I'll forgive that)

Bill Kenwright has praised the role of Sheffield United in the transfer deal that has brought Phil Jagielka to Goodison Park.

Jagielka ended a long courtship between himself and the club on Wednesday afternoon and the Blues Chairman was keen to acknowledge the conduct of the Yorkshire outfit at what has clearly been a testing time.

Speaking exclusively to evertonfc.com, Kenwright said: "Transfers theses days seem to take longer and longer to come to fruition and this one has required a lot of patience on both sides.

"We are all grateful that the contract could be concluded today, at the earliest possible time for Sheffield United."

Jagielka signed a 5-year deal before jetting north to join his team-mates at their Scottish training base.

Really sad to see him go. But i cant blame him for leaving to progress his career.

Thanks for all those memorable times, and best of luck!

Cheers for them amazin goals against leeds and boro.

All the best

From the OS...........

Phil Jagielka has got his wish, and will remain in the Barclays Premiership after agreeing a move to Goodison Park. Everton, long time favourites to secure his services, have agreed a £4m fee.

As part of the deal, Blues defender Gary Naysmith is due at the Lane on Thursday to discuss terms.

The twenty eight year old, who can play at left back or left midfield, is a full Scottish international, and moved to the Toffees from Hearts for £1.7m in October 2001

Good luck to Jags, he did a great job for us, and hopefully he can break into the England squad now:)

I'll never forget the Leeds goal, one of the best games i've been too.

Best of luck to him and getting in the team at everton my brother says he will just be a squad player

Good luck to Jags.
