Can't agree with you at all there, apart from 7 minutes out of 90+ they was far better. Looked fitter stronger and more composed with the ball, the 2-3 touch passing they played was way way above anything we've turned out for months. The referee had nothing to do with it, he played advantage long enough and one pass again has totally taken out half the team. Macatee Berge Lowe Ndaiye Anel way off it tonight and not for the first time lately.

Completely irrelevant when we are completely wasteful in front of goal. We’ve been so incredibly poor in the final third over the last few games with players taking an extra touch and making brain dead decisions.

Ben coming. Played crap for weeks. Berge is a deadweight for 90% of every game. Hecky has no feckin idea other than using Lowe and Bogle to get us forward down flanks but it’s so predicable it’s easy to snuff out.

First 10 mins Berge played balls down the channels for McBernie and Ndiaye to run on to but once we took lead we went to negative tactics and Berge, ndiaye and McBernie could have pulled a chair up ont side of pitch with a cuppa and a blanket round their legs.

Norwood completed 30 passes mostly to Boro players and sorry but McAtee ain’t up to the job, why not bring on Coulaby he seemed very quick footed and had good distribution.

If, and it’s a big if we go up Hecky is not the man to keep us there.

Fans, call themselves fans? 7 points clear and a game in hand then first defeat in months and ground was 50% empty with 10 mins to go apart from them who think it’s ok to stand at exits blocking those who choose to stays view. Wankers

Jeezus people and their stats, we got our chances by going long and wide which worked maybe 20% of the time but 80% of the time we were giving the ball back to them 10 seconds after getting possession.

Meanwhile Boro were passing it around our non existent midfield in circles while their fans chant Ole's and we couldn't get anywhere near them.

Jebbo puts a free header over the bar when all he has to do is head it down.
Egan heads straight to goalies hands at the death when all he has to do is head it down.
Ndiaye runs into box in the clear + straight into goalies legs.
They aren't even shots in target but should have been goals.

Yep. They were impressive. But it took a January signing of theirs to beat us. A player who was head and shoulders the obvious option to replace Khadra, who would've signed for us ahead of them without any doubt if we bothered to sort ourselves out

This is why you have to take your opportunities to beat likely rivals whenever they come up. We had that chance at the Riverside and fucked it up royally thanks to cowardly management

It also showed up our midfield's lack of athleticism and defensive ability. As soon as they're up against quick players with genuine quality they're exposed badly. Again, something we could have rectified in January with OBrien but we seemed to prefer the embargo approach
