Burton could be....

He's got fuck all to lord it about. He's inherited that winning side he's got there at Burton, and we've inherited what he left us. Not a patch on his dad.
A hallmark of a good manager is also not to tinker with a winning team.

Burton are not on a good run ( 7 points in last 5 games against our 6 points). A touch better than us of course but they will be anxious.

Hard night for both managers and one they must both be dreading, but that's life.

Watched Burton lose to Southend 3-1 last week. They played the predictable 4-5-1 with Bevon very lively up front on his own. Their midfield was mobile and did get box to box on occasions, though they were cautious as the away side. Centre halves looked solid but they conceded three goals, perhaps lack a bit of pace.

Our new 3-5-2 system is ideal to combat 4-5-1 so I hope we play it. Should be an interesting game which both sides have to win for a number of reasons.

No I'm not looking forward to it

The other results yesterday mean our season is still alive, but we need to beat Burton. By all accounts we looked solid v Rochdale, at least for the first hour, and should have been 2 or 3-0 up.

I'm predicting a Blades win, which will either signify a strong finish to the season or just prolong the agony

We aren't on a good run either it's why we are 10th in Division 3.

I thought this was a 'finish the headline' thread.

Mine would have been

... 19 points above us on Tuesday

... The turning point of our season

... lowest point supporting the blades

Any more?

The question is who is our manager next season?
