Thought the build up to last night's game was amazing - really emotional and dramatic. Does anyone know who the ambient techno music Gary Sinclair played was by? Brought a tear to my eye - was very affective.

Only got into the ground and few minutes before kick off so just heard the standard tracklist, Sandstorm, Kasabian et al.

But they have been playing this lately

Don't think the links working on mine, just sounds like a spectrum +2 loading up Dizzy!!??!!??

Ah, Dizzy the memories come flooding back that little annoying egg that you could not help but love even if it did take two weeks to load, was a revelation when it was on the Amiga and on Disk.. Not a helpful post from me sorry :tumbleweed:

They played Cafe Del Mar - Energy 52. One of my favourite songs of all time.

They also played "If the kids are United" by Sham 69.

Reminded me of the time I nearly got my head kicked in outside the Top Rank by 500 marauding skinheads, if that helps.

One thing I noticed for the first time prior to the Charlton game was when all the 1st 11 had gone back to the dressing room the subs were in a circle doing "keepy uppy" between themselves.
This goes round the circle until someone makes a mistake, at which points everyone else in the circle goes across and flicks the tab of the transgressor. Quite funny.

They do this at most games. Good for team spirit

I suspected they did, and I'm sure it is. They all looked quite pleased with themselves when able to apply a flick to their team mate.
Sadly I don't usually see it as I'm gargling in the bog, making sure the vocal chords are at optimum setting for a night of none stop singing and shouting.

Again never seen it , as I am always busy . I have a small tape recorder and listen to recordings of Jean Metcalfe and Cliff Michelmoore .
The time in Britain is 12 noon and the time in Germany is 1pm.
But whether home or away its two way family favourites .

It brings karma

Back in the days we were top flight pal!!!
Before the world's spiral into the retarded youth of today, which was started with the release of the "games console", I suppose you could blame Atari for that, but Mario and sonic accelerated the shrinkage of modern brains!!

Bought this album when it came out (Just Be) and used to listen to it all the time. Might have to dig it out again.

You mean BigBed, when Joe Shaw led us out from the John Street Stand to the almighty refrain of 'On Ilkley Moor Bah T'hat' ... when we were top flight pal?

Up and back on't Millwall team bus surely?

Still up here in Sheffield actually, back tomorrow on the Megabus (The Cheating Thumb). Once had a half-full can (or was it half-empty?) chucked at me from point-blank range by a coachload of Millwall fans at Toddington Services; it hit me right on the nose - they had plenty to aim at, I know - as I was in the process of bravely/stupidly accepting their offer of a lift. I swiftly changed my mind and got off again. The bunch of fucking cunts.

When we play a London team at home are you ever tempted to go up on the bus with their supporters?

No. Well, Brentford maybe once because I had several Brentford-fan mates who were travelling up on it. Sometimes the train can be the most intimidating, for example heading back to London after we beat Wet Spam 3-0 just as the Tevez Affair was growing wings.

Edit: As it was with that Brentford game I hitched up and got to Woodall the same time their coach did so got to chat to them all in McDonalds.
