And the Blades fan who served in world war one! A Blades fan for 90 years. There's dedication for you. Brought a tear to my eye.
I thought the same aswell.Don't think he served in World War One he would have had to be about 115
I think he's very good personally. A million times better than many other stadium announcers. On another level I find Sinclair appalling. Blade or not he's a DJ first and foremost and it's embaressingly obvious.
Yeah the last surviving WWI veteran died a couple of years ago.Don't th. ink he served in World War One he would have had to be about 115

Apart from the fact you can't hear a word he says when subs are being made?
BTW he isn't a stadium announcer. They sit out os sight and make announcements. In the stadium.
Sinclair is a Sinclair announcer. "Oh Maggie I wish I'd never seen your face"
No he definitely said WWIOops sorry I obviously misheard.
I know how you spell it and I know it's French, but in this instance it is pronounced how I said earlier in the post.Gary Sinclair said the guy has been following the blades for 90 years..respect
It's reveille...think it's French for wake up
it was a very moving tribute
Thought he did. Obviously he was incorrect, but glad my hearing isn't going. Everything else is.No he definitely said WWI
No he definitely said WWI
Join the club. The older I get the more moved I am by our remembrance events. Having kids really made me appreciate the value of sacrifice and ensuring the safety of the next generation. I always tend to cry these days when the last post is played...... what a softy!
My hearing is going too.......He said he was 'wearing medals from WWI' , not that he served . His father's, perhaps?
I can always hear him perfectly well, unless the crowd drown him out.Apart from the fact you can't hear a word he says when subs are being made?

First one that comes to mind, that boring twat at Liverpool.I like Gary Sinclair, he's actually got a personality and an affinity with the club. Most ground announcers are dull as fucking ditchwater.

He's good, that bloke we have when Gary is on holiday is useless.
Unless you get into the ground at 2.30 then you have to put up with about 3 songs, hardly unbearable no matter what music he chooses. The music played is largely gash. Paul Unwin would blind Sinclair. Always did.

Just the dyslexics.I can't be the only one who read the thread title as "Burglar before game" and assumed he was using the minutes' silence to steal from McCabe's office without being caught!![]()
