Before people think I'm sticking up for Robbo, I'm really not. I'd be happy if he walked away tomorrow, but that is not going to happen, nor is the board going to sack him, regardless of any car park protest.

yes he's played at top level football, but dosent mean he's a great manager and its proven that with his track record, that he's useless.

I'd hardly say "useless", he doesn't have a particularly good record in management at all, he does have a damn sight more of an idea when it comes to football management than any blades fan however. He does have a very good understanding of football, which people seem to think he doesn't.

Not a chance in the slightest. He isn't an idiot, he's a very successful businessman and a blade.... he wouldn't do such a thing.

He already has and continues to invest more than anyone else into the Blades. He is, without a doubt a blade, with far more at stake than any of us.

How many occaisions was Warnock accused of not having a clue?, How many times did people want him out like Robbo?

I never mentioned getting players fired up or management techniques, I said he has a higher understanding of the game than blades fans (this was a generalisation I wasn't including other blades within professional occupations within the game, nor unborn future blades supporting managers )

That doesn't mean he has £800m cash to invest.

The Scarborough group is a family-owned business and a great proportion of that sum will be required by reinvestment elsewhere or may be tied up in shares.

Richard Branson is a millionaire but in cash terms he isn't rich... it's all tied up in shares and property and an estimated valuation on what his company is worth.

But thinking in black and white...

Of course Kevin McCabe has £800m cash in his wallet to just chuck at the Blades with no return! Silly me.

There might well be, but back to you mentioning proven track records.... surely Robson having played as a captain for his country gives him a higher pedigree than mr Semi Pro?

The window isn't yet closed. Over the season we will have invested quite heaviliy in terms of wages etc however. Beattie & Speed won't be cheap. Who at our level has signed anyone you'd have liked to come to the lane? Like i keep saying, its not like going to Tesco and taking your pick of products

Even if you didn't have it available to invest, you'd magic it out of nowhere? As I said before, the £800m may belong to the company and be tied up in shares and property.

The first thing one learns in law is that company assets and personal assets are not the same thing.

As someone who supports Robson simply because he is the Blades manager and will be until Mcabe says different, I am only concerned with what the club does next. So who the hell can we bring in. The mess in midfield is not new, so where is the fix?
