The well publicised nutmegging by Brooksy at the Wednesday game has been duly noted by defenders in this league. Various YouTube videos of Brooksy in action have also highlighted his tendency to favour the nutmeg as a means of beating defenders. It was clear on Tuesday night that defenders were anticipating the nutmeg - and correctly so. Brooksy tried it at least 3 times. It will be interesting to see if he widens his repertoire of skills over the next year.

Well the Hull defenders were not paying to much attention,it was virtually the first thing David did when he came on,megged the hapless defender,

Back in the 70s and 80s, wingers often used to push the ball to one side of the defender and run round the other side, you very rarely see it at all these days. It would seem an obvious thing for Brooks to do if defenders are expecting the meg.

he looks like he as plenty of tricks and different things he can do, far from a one trick pony, I expect he will get better and better as he uses the game experience to learn what works and what does not.
