OrHe was never a realistic signing once we failed to gain promotion.
The star!... joke newspaperThe Stir did a classic non news story on this today.
Headline:
"Sheffield United-linked star set for big-money transfer amid ongoing Chris Wilder future uncertainty"
Later in the article:
"One player who was unlikely to be under consideration was Norwich City star Borja Sainz......"
What an absolute turd rag!!!
The Leon Clarke effect..... ooo, that's going to upset some people on here!I just don't think he's very good. Shoots a lot and a load went in early season.
3 goals, 2 assists in his last 23 games
Tbf, Leon cost £350k though!!The Leon Clarke effect..... ooo, that's going to upset some people on here!![]()
He never looked particularly bothered either. I'm sure of he gave it all he'd be a really good player but a slower league will be better for him.I just don't think he's very good. Shoots a lot and a load went in early season.

Yep, confirmed now. Decent business for Norwich, but big boots to fill for them as he got 18 goals for them last season.Going to Porto for almost £15 million
That's probably mean they'll go after barry or someone decent .l bet they dont hang around while the tumble weed ghosts down Shoreham street before getting signing!!.Yep, confirmed now. Decent business for Norwich, but big boots to fill for them as he got 18 goals for them last season.

Yep, we can see the effects from their league positions over the last few years. They’re an example to all of us.What they do well, is get replacements in before they announce the sale of one of their own players for a large fee. Non of this selling and then go sniffing round a few targets who are suddenly more expensive as the selling clubs know you now have the coins jingling in your pockets. Sainz was probably sold a while back but just needed the sign off from Norwich which they are happy to do once the replacements are in place. Proactive rather than reactive.
