Only problem is, we need a central defender and they're never as glamorous as attackers. We could sign a really good centre half but to a degree, it just isn't as exciting as a flying winger or twenty goal striker. Although if we do sign a ch, they'll be a collective sigh of relief.

In fairness, financially the board sort-of delivered with the Brayford purchase after Harry's sale. It just took an age to deliver & the direct problem caused by the sale wasn't addressed.

Just got to hope this situation is managed better (& much quicker) by Mester Adkins. And that Jim said what he did in good faith.

Buying Byrne & Goldson before the transfer window closes would be stellar in anyone's book.

Well we can only go off what Sela and Jim have said. Murphy's interview makes me think they're right, he talked about the national team and we all know Strachan wouldn't pick a league one player.

Just depends who you're comparing them to as I see these two players been in our top three defenders, admittedly they don't have much to beat but to say they're both poor defenders whilst we languish in the third tier is a tad harsh. If you'd have said that, whilst been in the league above then I think you'd stand more of a chance of validating this claim. I say again Freeman and Harris
