I am fascinated too. I doubt that it would have been a chimpanzee as it would have been a danger to humans. What type of monkey that would always go back to its home? nothing beat home, eh?

It probably just got hungry. Not much easy access to peanuts, bananas and carpet cleaner at midnight in Weston Super Mare.

Thanks for the pics Foxy. It makes me appreciate the Lane even more. My last visit to Bristol was to Ashton Gate in the promotion season. There were lots of chimps gorillas and Father Christmases at that game.
Own up, who went in a gorilla outfit that day?. It was bloody hot.
