I hope the police can find the twat who threw the firework - he could be in big trouble if they do. "Throwing a firework with the intent to cause alarm or injury can lead to charges under the Public Order Act 1986, potentially resulting in up to 3 years imprisonment, an unlimited fine, or both". It certainly caused alarm - BBD nearly jumped out of his skin when it went off. I think he thought someone had fired a gun at him!

It also looks like Burrows ends his celebrations early as he walks away holding his head. He's then watching the crowd as he walks back, looking a bit paranoid. He must have been hit with something too.

Surely all of this will lead to sanctions? We had to reduce seating after some naughty boys were standing up ffs.

Yep and had that landed directly on top of the huddle (it wasn't far away) there is a chance it gets caught in a player's hair or shirt or whatever, and you are looking at a serious injury.

I love him & his attitude , but steady on !

Contracts are plans for the future , not rewards for the past.

We fell into that trap a few times in recent years and it hurt us.

We will probably get fined before they even look at what Wednesday fans and players did.

Looking at a different video I can't believe how much stuff was flying off the LL upper into their fans in the LL lower at exactly the same time.

We have more than our fair share of knobheads too, and very little entitlement to the moral high ground.

He wasn't hit. He shit himself when the bang went off and left the area sharpish.

The main thing I'm taking from seeing these videos taken within the ground is that the Sty is in even worse shape than I thought it was. You only really get a sense of how bad it is when you see it close up. Shabby doesn't begin to cover it, it looks like something off Homes under the Hammer. Like the artexing on the away dressing room wall ffs

I was surprised to see how bad it was on that video. I wasn't aware of it at the time. As you say - we have our fair share of knobheads and in my opinion we are no better or worse than any other group of fans.
There were quite a few empty seats in the row infront of me and around kick off a young man staggered onto the row (clearly intoxicated with something), saw his mates on the row behind me and climbed over our row to join them. There were definitely more fans than seats in the row behind. I didn't really take much notice of them apart from their slagging off of Choudhuri and later on Cannon when he came on.
When we scored one of the idiots behind fell over the the back of my seat and crashed onto the back of a seat in the row infront. He then climbed back to his original position - fortunately with no consequences for me or the women on either side of me. Rail seats would have gone some way to preventing potential injuries and it's to be hoped that when they finally get round to rebuilding the LL lane end, rail seats will be the norm - of course that won't stop idiots throwing stuff.

Having never really watched Wednesday outside of when we play them, I was genuinely astounded at the state of the ground

I've watched the video a few times before this thread but I didnt realise BBD got hit in the face. Have a look at 23 seconds right after the firework he clearly gets hit in the face by something. I hope this gets reported and investigated properly and they heavily fine Wendy.
 
I like the analogy but the Battle of Agincourt was fought on St. Crispin’s day , which is referenced in the original Shakespearean quote .

As for Robbo’s response to this incident and his overall performance in the game , I was full of admiration in both respects.
