We've managed to sure up that defence magnificently! I mean, if Edgar gets injured there's lots of really good players to come in and cover, that defence we had at Gillingham did really well I seem to remember so we could always rely on that. I'm also glad we've managed to stay true to our word on re-investing the Murphy money, and the signings we've done that with seem to be really good ones actually. Overall a massive well done to the blades for an excellent deadline day.

Don't think Mr Adkins will see any of the Murphy money - paying back the overdraft for bring in Sharp, Salmon, Edgar and Woolford !
Why oh why does everyone get excited on deadline day when our track record of historical deals done on deadline day is so pathetic ?
At least we have not sold anyone !!!

I'm honestly glad we didn't sell anyone else (except Collins)

I think despite Jims love of communicating on Twitter, it's all pretty pointless as he is pretty much full of shite.

As I said when he first started his twitter love in with blades fans, he'd be better off doing his job than retweeting fans who've blown smoke up his arse.

best player sold, money banked, linked with decent players but doesn't quite come off despite their best efforts. Why is anyone surprised

And there I was thinking you might be changing your ways. I'd hate to be in your house christmas day if you didnt get what you asked for.

*shore up

This is what happens at Sheffield United when we win three games on the bounce.
No need for any improvement, even some of our fans were saying the same thing.
No wonder the club stays statically crap.

We're flying at the minute. Sky Sports reported we'd bid for Burn. It didn't come off.

I'm relatively relaxed, but I'd expect some further loan movement.

Anyway, good to have you back with us BarnyBlade!

complacency is a slow killer

Would it have made any difference if we weren't in good form?

You just don't get it do you? Stick on the Forum, you will learn a lot if you are willing to learn.

That's not to say things at SUFC are good, indeed far from it, but you know that. Things look like they are improving, just keep your powder dry for a little while, non-Bladey blade.

I was hoping for at least one defender so I'm slightly disappointed. If we bring a couple of decent players in on loan and pay all their wages if necessary, whilst having an option to sign them if we go up, then I'll be happy.
