Should be starting.

Only forward who looks like creating something out of nothing.
Mousset is similar, but i've got more questions over his attitude.

Said it elsewhere but he looked a much more rounded player today picking up that aggressiveness and tenacity that all hood striker have. Next step is the end product but he was unlucky not to be played through today and is progressing.

He put in a shift today but I'm struggling to see what he offers to the team in the system we play. He's made 2 good passes and had like 2 ok shots in the entirety of his career for us so far. What influence is he having on the game? He's rarely where he should be.

Is it just me who thinks he looks completely out of place on a men’s football pitch. He doesn’t seem to possess any of the necessary attributes to make it in this game, he’s a boy playing with men and it shows.
Totally agree....way off the pace required...I see nothing there to even put him in the ‘prospect’category...let alone a potential starter....terrible decision by the club...
I do hope I’m wrong though..

Didzy aside... what other striker has been anywhere near what we should expect in the system we play?

Good point which does raise more issues about the recruitment and the system.

It’s me too, and my son, my wife, my 9 season ticket friends and my cousin, that also think he is way out of his depth. Sorry, but fact
If I was you, I’d have more important things to do than invade your neighbours website when your virtually guaranteed to be playing 3rd division football next season.

Having to do too much down the channel’s and link up play. He shouldn’t have to be doing all that and needs to be in or around the box. He put a shift in.

He was better today. However that bar has been set so low.

That said, I think we persevere with him.

To be fair to the strikers it’s not like we give them great chances to miss. That goes for all of them!

All our strikers have bad records for us but great records everywhere else. Maybe it’s not Brewster / Mcburnie issue maybe it’s the midfield not creating enough.

The expectations on here are sky high. It's very difficult to score in the Premier League. Teams that play defensive systems like us, Palace, Burnley etc will have strikers who go through prolonged droughts ie: Benteke; Ayew; Barnes; Vydra.
Many of these start every game and still dont score for like 15-20 games. Even Aubameyang who is worth £100M had a very long drought.
Brewster is in and out of a struggling side that is set up with a back 8 (Wilder's own words)
Until we start playing a more expansive system that creates more chances then he will struggle in the Premier League.
Remind me how long Everton were patient with DCL for - 5 years?
The superblades on here want to write Brewster off after 15 games (most as sub)
