He's in Sunderland signing for the Mackems. Didn't work for him here, best of luck to him. He'll always be remembered for that goal in front of the kop at the theatre of rust.
I’d be absolutely astounded if they signed him, he’s shown the square root of fuck all in the years he’s been here outside a few decent performances, and a goal against the pigs.

Robinson scored 12 goals the previous season mainly from the wing but was rapid. Wilder tried to turn him into a striker to give us more pace up top. It didn't work out but £8mil wasn't a huge outlay. It was a gamble that didn't pay off.
A pal described Robinson as the slowest fast man he'd ever seen. 😆
He looked like he was running fast, but......

😅

I wish him well. Big money signing and at the time we were all buzzing at getting THE hottest young striker in the country.

Injuries killed him, stopped his progress and pretty much ended the potential he was showing at Liverpool and England U21 level.
He was very very poor before any injuries

Bit of an anticlimactic ending to Brewdogs time with us… contract ran down to nothing and leaves with a whimper.
Will always be a story of what could have been (much like last season) but he never had any sort of consistency.
We were always waiting and hoping for the damp squib to ignite until it finally fizzled out.
Was there to watch his volley at Blackburn and that was probably the highlight other than the Wednesday tap-in.

PNE with Hecky & McCall feels too obvious. About Brewsters level but depends if he’s willing to take the massive pay cut.

I think his agent is badly advising him or maybe Brewster is just deluded. If we made him an offer I’d have snapped our hands off. I just can’t see him getting a better offer than a top 6 Championship club.

Whoever signs him is going to be taking a gamble.

I am glad some common sense has been realised, yes he got injured for lengthy periods of time however who that is down too is difficult to say as other players still managed 30+ games a season. To be fair he might cut it at somewhere like Huddersfield Town or Bradford City now they are in League 1.

Why, so Hecky can snap him in two with his training methods like he has done with players at every club he's managed?

Nothing against him as he tried hard, but for me even when he first signed for us he didn't look like he understood how to make runs to get in positions to score etc, and used to wander round aimlessly (a bit like Cannon so far). £23M spent on someone whose only trait was had cannons for feet if ever the sea parted for him to get a shot in was a criminal waste of money.

Injuries and being played out of position after that obviously didn't help him. He needs to go somewhere where the team has 80% of the ball, and not much is expected of him apart from the stand on edge of area and shoot! (Rangers or Celtic)

Coming from Liverpool FC, picked up a Champions League medal, went for 23m, snagged a good salary.

Him and his agent probably have a much higher interpretation of his standing in the gene then what it actually is.

It was only changing manager to Slav that got him elevated somewhat on the new managers thinking.

At the point in time when Hecky was caretaker, Jebbo had already managed to leapfrog him. At that point there was more justification on play alone of Brewster being the one sent to Burton on loan than Jebberson.

Ther was a fortunate reset but he’s never done away where near to justifying his billing. 3 goals in 6 that January was as close as it came but that is such a small sample size.
