Outgoing? Brewster

No matter how poor a signing he was I’d like to think he’d get a good reception at the Lane should he ever come in an opposition shirt.

I think he gave his best, it just wasn’t good enough, and he didn’t dictate the transfer fee. At least he provided us a win against the pigs and we’ll never know what he could have been achieved without injuries.
Think.its because that article is a load of made up shit

Absolutely. Guy is never wrong though. Mate of mine who works at shirecliffe. Gave me some free training gear from last season other week. Good lad. He also said One and Peck were at the lane yesterday and today, despite not being in the videos on social media
Mention any rumours of incomings? Alzate, Phillips or Barry etc?

Wish him all the best but he just wasn't able to produce the form he showed for Swansea. I think with wingers and more crosses then he could score 10 - 15 goals a season at champ level but so could all of our strikers. He's not offering anything we've not already got. All the best to him but I think it's best he goes and plays every week.

Hoppo?!

Interesting to see where he ends up and if they lazily look at one or two highlights and have considered his problems around injuries and form, which could also be seen as ability.

I know you can make for contributions for some but we spent 50m on Brewster, McBurnie and Mousset and they all left for nothing. Chansiri-esque!

Aye
Probably because some bastard had given their training gear away & they didn’t fancy turning out in ‘skins’

I think when you put it like that, it seems staggering and is a huge amount of money for a club like us.

First season in the Premier League alone probably paid for McBurnie and Mousset, they bagged 12 goals between them out of the 39 total for the team. We didn't just stay up that season.

I think as you say, that they all left for free which is obviously something that we don't want to be doing as a club. The Prince learned from it, mostly, trying to eventually tie players down on longer contracts.

In the end though, we could've had all three on long contracts and they still get injured. Its a risk.

On the same token, we got more for Jebbison than i'd ever expected, we got a huge amount for Ramsdale when we sold him, a big fee for Osula, so there is a balance.

We sold Ndiaye and Berge for decent money rather than lose them on a free as they were both running their contracts down.

Are we tying the younger talented players down? I think mostly, yes.

Good glad he’s gone biggest mistake of a transfer in our history He did score against the pigs though
He’ll find his l level in league One

It wasn't the biggest mistake, everyone know it's the injuries that have done him and a regular spell would have seen him hit possibly 10 goals this season, that's not league 1 standard when he's barely played as a striker.

He was crap long before he was injured. If you think he would hit 10 goals this season you are very optimistic. Maybe in League One though

He scored 4 goals and 3 assists (all four goals won us points) whilst not playing in his natural position.

Wouldn't complain if you said not good enough for a team going for promotion but "crap" and "league one" are over the top.
