Brewster

His price tag and more importantly his wage is entirely relevant to what he brings to the team.

The amount of money that he has essentially siphoned away from the rest of the club cannot be ignored. He’s been better in recent weeks but that doesn’t mitigate the complete waste of space he’s been for 80% of his time here- regardless of ‘good vibes’.
Do you know for a fact what he earns per week? Or are you going off a website telling you. I have it on good authority that he’s nowhere near the top earner in the squad and it’s definitely not £35k p/w

Brewster did well today, he put the winning goal on a plate for Rak-Sakyi.

He also provided an assist for Rak-Sakyi earlier in the season against Luton.

The chance at the end which hit the bar wasn't a sitter, nor was it unlucky.

He's put his head down and unnecessarily hit it too hard as he so often does.

Really? After 61 pages and the performances he is putting in of late, we still have these stupid discussions after every game. We can’t change his salary, price or injury record, judge him on what he’s done since about November, when he’s been injury free, playing consistently and contributing to the position we find us in

I’ll slag Brewster till the cows come home for his obvious deficiencies but today he was where he should be doing what he should do and what’s more he was the only player to put a diagonal ball into their box all game. Well done Brewster.

He hit the bar mate, there isn’t much he could’ve done . He was just unlucky.
There isn't much he could have done????

Well he could have scored!!

But he didnt. Which was par for the course.

As one of his biggest critics on here, I thought he did well today.
I knew his fan boys would be out in force today though.

He made a positive difference when he came on, loved his energy, work rate and commitment, some nice touches and short passes too.
One of our better performers today….well done.

Decent effort in injury time hitting the underside of the bar.
However he was clean through, running centrally on goal with just the keeper to beat.
We’ve seen this before….Brewster always goes for maximum power…..
when he should have shown more composure…eased off the power and passed it in to the net.

Perhaps I should clarify, there isn't much more he could've done in order to score. He times his run well, his shot is powerful and quick, and it hits off the bar. An inch or two lower and that's a goal, he was unlucky not to score.

He did play well though, and he set up the winning goal. He deserves praise for that, so I am out in full force for him today.

Yeah he didn't need to blast it.

I thought he was excellent. Caused them no end of bother when he came on. Almost irritated at him in case he gets my hopes up again, but I'll always give players credit when deserved.

Today, he played well.
But NEARLY scoring means nothing.
Portsmouth NEARLY scored four. And got nothing for it.

Him ,Peck, and Rak Saki were the difference when they came on.

He probably shouldn't have blasted it, should've kept his composure. He did play very well though, his pass to Rak Sakyi was stellar. Peck was great too, as you said.
