No defenders will be shaking at the thought of these two at the moment, hopefully some fresh faces in midfield giving them better service will change things (watch us get Guedioura instead) but who fucking knows anymore. Depressing. Or maybe just stick em in the reserves.
Fed up hearing about crap service . As strikers THEY are crap ,they are no where to be seen in the places they should be. There is no movement and when a opportunity does come their way they can not hit the target. It is a natural thing for a striker to be where he will be most effective and these guys don't have it. Only Sharp has that natural ability has he proved today . been on 20mins but he was in the right place on at least 2 occasions being supplied by the same guys as Webster and McBurnie hitting the target twice which I believe was the only time we did hit the target .I am sure someone on here will put me right if i am wrong because i did miss some of it .

Thing is they have both smashed goals in at this level so labelling them dog shite is short sighted IMO.

Midfield is the problem, just zero creativity.
Well Sharp seems to be a threat with the SAME service,

Brewster

This was late in the game when the tactics had shifted and we were pumping the ball into the box, you know this.

All i'm saying is play down the flanks and get quality crosses in and I think Brewster and McBurnie score plenty. Piss about with tippy tappy football from the back into Norwood/Fleck/Berge equates to slow easy to defend against football.

When Brewster & McBurnie get 4 or 5 good chances per game to score and they fluff them then I will agree with you.
So are you saying if they were still on the pitch they would have scored and would have brought a save out of their keeper? Because I think if they were still playing now at 930 pm they still would not have scored.

Dean Ashton on quest has just said what alot of us have.. the movement of the forwards has got to be better you've got 35yr old sharp coming on to get u a goal!!! Us fans know fuck all eh

It was a game for Sharp really - when you're camped in the other team's half all game you need someone who can score from in tight, rather than someone with a bit more speed who can't finish. I didn't think McBurnie was too bad today - as others have said, he was effective working with Sharp. Brewster is just rubbish every week though, without fail.

Sshh don't let wilders love child's hear u say that

Mcburnie offers something occasionally but brewster offers nothing week in week out, id feel sorry for him if he was a yt kid on 60 quid a week thrown in at the deep end but.......... he's taking home £2m a season.. yes £2 million fucking quid for these performances... Can anyone justify that????

Strikers may be rubbish but we will never know for sure whilst our midfield continues with Fleck and Norwood.

The pair of them are absolutely fuckin shocking I don’t know how some of our supporters rate the fuckers. People stick up for McBurnie because he had a decent year 3 years ago for another side & because of his antics of the pitch it makes him look some sort of normal footy lad. End of the day. The bloke is a terrible footballer who for some reason is never in the right position. Brewster is far far worse though, what the fuck was CW thinking when he signed that fucker, he just never seems to be remotely fucked to get into any half decent attacking position it’s painful. I have seen more movement in a bastard burial ground than them two overrated, overpriced useless fuckers.

Sharp was pretty good today he's 36..... Imagine if we got a young decent striker in... I watched Barnsley earlier, woodrow was way better than brewster and he fed off scraps

Absolutely spot on

McBurnie - Textbook headers in his own penalty area. In the opponent's penalty area he seems more interested in landing on his arse to try and get a penalty than actually planting one in the corner.

Klopp did a number on Wilder big time over Brewster.....I haven't seen anything about him to remotely justify what we spent. Also he seems like he's a temporarily embarassed aristocrat, waiting for better things to come his way so he can be off but we should be so lucky.
I think there's more hope for Bladesballer if we can get the right partner and style of play for him but fuck knows what that is. Perhaps he will come on here and tell us.

Get rid of both these tossers , terrible waste of money and time , they are hurting us with every game they play as they are useless and non productive .

Amazes me how half the Kop are still singing “he’s our striker he’s our number 9, scoring goals in the red and white” as he clearly isn’t is he.
Need to change the last bit to “20 million what a waste of money and he goes by the name of McBurnie”
He’s dire.

How much did we waste on these two useless cretins ? £45m or £50m ?? I don't suppose there is the slightest chance that Jurgen wants to activate Brewsters £40m buy back clause is there ? Both of them are pathetic, over rated amateurs and the sooner them and Fleck and Norwood are gone the better. I would rather play Jebbison with Sharp than give either of them 2 another chance.

The fraud needs to leave... ASAP

Well you never know for certain mate Sharp and Jebbison might work. We know one has that natural knack of being in the right place at the right time may be the lad possess it to. What have we got to lose ? swapping one pair of flops for another pair of flops every other week is just underlining that most of our strikers are crap. Lets go for something different ,nothing to lose and plenty to gain ,one things for sure we ain't going to score swapping the same two with the other same two . If you try something and it is a failure trying it again and again will give you the same result FAILURE. LETS TRY SOME THING NEW.

Good god no... They are absolutely wank, other than the price tag Brewster doesn't deserve to be in our under 23 side

But he does deserve to be in the England U23s, he’s that wank. It’s almost as if he is a decent player that has bags of potential, but no the forum is right to judge him on the tiny scraps he gets to work off on the rare occasions he’s gets a start or a full game.

He needs time to grow and develop in a confident team creating chances, which isn’t us currently.

Brewster must be the first £20m+ striker in football history who has failed to score a league goal in over a year.

McBurnie hasn't scored since last December either.

McBurnie is ok in this division but we seem to have coached him into a Mcgoldrick role so he's dropping further and further back. He'll do ok at this level but his supply will be more valuable than his goals. He needs to cut out the wrestling and diving shit though. Refs have been told to let much more go.

I'm still yet to see what kind of forward Brewster is. He looks undercoached.

Brewster is pish end of
so is mcburnie get rid of both of em they just dont fit our club and never have if we could get 10m each for them it would be good business as daft as it sounds take the loss and move on 2 terrible wilder signings

‘Cant wait for them to Rip up the Championship’ were the quotes I got to my assessment of the two of them from last year, hmmmm. At present my assessment stands…..prescious lack of ability!

Sharp had two chances in the game and hit the target .................................. both set up by Ollie McBurnie.

Brewster could have the Man City midfield behind him and he wouldn’t score as many as he should. His movements are very underdeveloped, he snatches at shots, and I’m starting to think he has the same footballing intelligence as Burke. McBurnie, the jurys is still out for me, got into some good positions yesterday and wasn’t picked out when the ball was on the deck not forgetting his assist, but he’s not the targetman we need or what wilder tried to turn him into. Need to play to his strengths and he scores.
