Wow, what a result today and what a fantastic run we're on right now. Nigel Clough has been a complete revelation. He's no frills, no bullshit but what a great footballing bloke and what a pleasure it is listening to his no nonsense interviews after the games.

He's got us doing the basics, but doing them very well. He's been very astute in the players he's brought in and Scougall for me could be a legend for the club. I'm the ultimate pessimist but even I think the green shoots are showing through.

It just goes to show, players who were getting roundly panned a couple of months ago all of a sudden look like they're fit for purpose. Again, this is down to the manager and his staff who've got them believing and got them grafting.

Well done to all again today, keep it up lads and who knows, another couple of results like today and I might even crack a smile

Can't argue with what Clough has done. Safety next step when a month ago we looked doomed. Brilliant.

He's managed to utilise the tempo, passion and intensity typically associated with the best Blades sides and added passing, movement and flair. It's wonderful to watch.

Everything I see, hear, or read about Nigel Clough is positive. He speaks accurately and eloquently in all his interviews, he can be a great man manager and can be a strict disciplinarian, he is a real football manager who knows exactly what he wants from his players and his players are all on same wavelength.
He also as a great eye for transfers, his record to date as been exemplary, so may say that perhaps the only one thats not been great is Paynter, but if Porter is rested or injured then perhaps Paynter will come into his own.

If we get three more wins by next Tuesday then we will be at Wembley and closing in on the play offs, Im not stating for one minute that we will hit the play offs but from where we was at a few weeks ago that's an extraordinary rise.

Brian the blade claiming him telling United to pick Howard is reason we are doing well Clough has nothing to do with it
Surely the home must be looking for him with his jacket that ties both arms at the back

Brian the Blade is the most annoying, irritating embarrassing prick I think I've ever heard. Why oh why does Radio Sheffield give constant air time to this clown? FFS, they try to make a celebrity of this joker.

If ever there was a reason not to listen to the radio then this dick brain is it.

Have to nick it off you first though eh? :)

I think you cannot understate what getting rid of that shit stain Marlon King has done for the team as well. Players like him are not wanted anywhere near our club any more where in the past we were a home for the obsolete, past it and never quite made it 30 something footballer.

Scougall has been a revelation and while some said "he is too small" and teams like Peterborough didn't take the plunge you only have to look at players like Messi to realise your actual height only acts as a disadvantage in a heading dual with a lump centre half. In every other aspect of play you actually have the advantage if you use it right.

It is great being a blade again and not something to be ashamed of on any level right now.

I know we are Super Blades but four games in three days is a bit harsh! (MK Dons - Saturday, xxx - Sunday late afternoon kick off, xxx - Monday noon kick off, xxx - Monday evening kick off). And then there's Peterborough on Tuesday evening . You're obviously ex-Special Forces. :)

Peterborough put an offer in didn't they? Barry Fry reckoned Livingston changed the goalposts......their loss our gain!! Love the scoogs

Never, ever be ashamed of being a Blade.

It's like being ashamed of your children. It just doesn't happen. It's an unconditional love.

Totally agree re King and regarding the height issue, doesn't bother Matt Hill much either does it?

The most pleasing thing for me is that the I don't see the success Nigel is cultivating to be unsustainable or a flash in the pain/new manager syndrome.

Things tend to get over exaggerated, but we were desperately awful in September. Morgan did a great job starting the ball rolling, but Clough persevered with a lot of players who I was screaming out to be sacked off (namely Porter, Murphy and Flynn) who have since been revelations. The F.A Cup run is an incredible achievement and keeping us in the top half will be equally as impressive.

As for his personality, I find myself nodding along and agreeing with pretty much every single statement he gives in the media. In the past with Warnock I used to cringe at some of the utter bollocks he'd spout. Whilst it was often entertaining and straight from the heart, I feel more proud of my club with Clough representing it.

What I like about Clough is he does seem to say it how he see's it.

If we turn in a shit performance he will say it and also identify where it went wrong.

So far so good and long may it continue.
