One of the "tunnels" was closed off. I think Banksy is working in there.

I think they must be doing work on all of them. The Decathlon one was closed a few weeks ago and last time I went through it was the Staples one.

Who ever from the traffic planning department instigated this closure needs their grey matter being looked at. All last week it caused problems and yesterday in the immediate vicinity before and after the game it was absolute chaos and dangerous.
By closing a through road it doesn’t alleviate a problem it just shifts it elsewhere. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist........

SCC & Amey = Clowns.
I saw loads of cars on Hill St trying to head towards the Railway pub but were stuck because it was closed off. They couldn't go down the side roads into Bramall Lane as BL was closed off, as usual before a match. Hence lots of horn honking and high rate hand waving. Good old Amey's traffic management at its finest.

Accident saving scheme? How many accidents have occurred there in the last year?

Me! Couple of years ago though. I’m in Anchor Point love living round here but that’s the worst bit find yourself dreading having to pull out at that junction no one knows who’s right of way it is but any dithering and you miss the gap! I’ve stopped going that way I just go down Shoreham and up St Mary’s Gate now. So the closure gets a from me.

They are doing up the St Mary's gate underpass too. It could do with some Blades murals

The underpasses at Molineux are impressive showing the history of their club.... Obviously with Sheffield’s rich football history any thoughts of us as a club or city doing the same would be blocked by the council

It's the road that runs behind the railway. That junction is going to be closed so you can't turn onto it. Not sure of other road that joins up at railway but they will only turn left towards London road making that bit 1 way
