What about that big brick wall which divides it from JSS ?
Doesn't that affect the corner stand seats which are near it ?

I've not sat next to wall, would imagine you can't see half the pitch, not sure.
I have sat in the restricted view area about 10 seats from the wall and it was fine.

I'm in there again....for the 1st time in years.....against Burnley.
We're in the restricted view area about 8 seats from the wall.

41 quid ( and forgoing a lift back home) to sit in kop corner.

Pay on the gate is expensive these days

We are the 4th most expensive pay on the day prices in the entire EFL.

Noticed that Burnley haven't sold their allocation.....which is a massive surprise for a top of the table clash.
I wonder if the £38 ticket price is putting off some of their fans.

On tv and boxing day too

I am stunned that Burnley haven't sold out their end , they have a loyal following - how many unsold ?

Agree they always sell out away end or come close to filling it.

With it being Boxing Day and a top of the table clash most teams in this division would sell the 2.700 tickets in the away end.

Agree Burnley have good fans, assumed they would sell their allocation.

Just 17 tickets left now, all on the Kop.
With Burnley winning today, maybe there'll have a last minute rush.

All tickets now gone......match officially a sell out for home fans.

Burnley were given 2.719 tickets and surprisingly haven't sold out yet.
They put in their best performance of the season in their last match at home to Watford
so I'd expect a last minute rush for tickets, surely they'll be close to selling their allocation for such an important match?

£38 plus travel and all the trimmings is a lot at Xmas and I don't blame away fans for voting with their feet. I just hope we have the class to avoid the tired old 'tinpot' clichés which do nothing but mask and avoid the real conversation which should be happening here, about the sport being systematically ripped from the working class hands which forged it.

Assuming Wednesday was a complete sell out and the segregation was the same as normal:

Attendance that day of 31,127 was a full sell out. Home and away ends full. Our capacity has got lower again.

Away end we give 2,719 as standard so just 28,403 tickets are now available to home fans this season. Hopefully a ground expansion is somewhere high up the new owners to do list after hopefully keeping us in the top tier.

Ground expansion when we sold out like 4 games in the 2 seasons fans could go in the prem, one of them challenging for Europe. A ground expansion is not what we need at this moment in time.

Been done to death. Clearly down to availability of non restricted view tickets, restrictions on letting new fans buy and single seats being left

Yeah. Its a piss take. Iam going in on a kids ticket. Hopefully they won’t check
They don't need to check, the light is orange rather than green now, or so im told?, so a child's ticket shows an orange light above, adult shows green, which makes it easy for the 2 stewards behind the turnstiles, to eject any individual......

Just checked the SUFC ticket site

There's now just 48 tickets left, for the big Boxing Day promotion class with Burnley.
6 (all restricted view) in the Pukka Pie Kop corner and 42 on the Kop (many restricted view).

Can see that all the restricted view seats have been released and sold.
We had 31,127 (an official sell out) against Wednesday, so this match is guaranteed to also break 31,000.
I can guarantee they'll be a spare seat next to me on John Street. Oy time it's been sold is v Pigs. It's always free..I must stink

Had a look at the burnley forum. Many complaints about ticket prices. Also burnley haven’t given them a seating map to choose seats or even choose a block, they just get allocated tickets later. That plus the tickets prices and no option to collect tickets and so stump up the £1.50 postage has annoyed a few

Maybe they actually won’t sell out. Hope they do though. Good away following and it’d be a shame for loads to feel they have to miss out on a tradition of English football

I think it’s a concession ticket that’s orange, so the stewards need to work out if it’s a junior coming through or an OAP 🙂 I wonder whether they would eject anybody coming in on the wrong ticket. At minimum wage, it would be a lot easier to turn a blind eye.

Not that I’m suggesting anyone risk it, but in all my times going through the kop turnstiles, usually entrance 56, the security guys are only ever in the outside and are always looking forwards, not backwards at the light, which could always be hidden by your body easily

But don’t do this, or use VPNs to travel abroad dead fast and watch games

Never anyone checking when I ho through with my daughter. Im on a carer ticket. But no one ever there checking. More fussed over my bag before I go through.

You're right over colour. Orange for concession. Green for adult...I think. I'm too relieved to see it work than to recall colour 🤣

Yeh I've seen their new ticket site.
There are 2 areas available (areas 1 and 3).
Assume area 2 is the middle section of the lower tier and all sold. Areas 1 and 3 will be the wings.

Agree it doesn't being up a map to show where the tickets are situated.
At least their software does have a facility to ensure that the tickets you buy are together.

Burnley would’ve sold the entire BL end out, both tiers, if one the ticket pricing was right and two they were given it if we didn’t indeed sell tickets up there, they’ve done it before. Boxing Day is always a huge fixture that usually sees very big crowds, it’s the only reason possible that they haven’t sold out.

Burnley is one of the poorest areas of the Country, with high price and Christmas, we did not sell our Cardiff for the same reasons. (I know a long trip Sat before Christmas made it even worse).

My lad was able to get tickets for Sunderland and Watford with only 40k of points, which highlights we are not all loaded.

The club will feel just selling out at the last minute means they have got the pricing right to maximise profit, looks like they have just got it wrong with Burnley, though could still sell out just.

Hope the Yanks are observing that there is not loads to be milked from us fans, obviously in the prem there are the tourist which alters the equations.

Pigs got 300 less so Burnley should be a bigger attendance.

Slightly different trip is us to cardiff and Burnley to us
