Think as a teenager I went to this match, I remember going to Nottingham & leaving early because we were 3-0 down or something, think we had pulled a goal or two back but left before the final whistle, we were shocked but pleased when we learned it was a draw. was it this match can anyone tell me?

The day everyone played goalie wag ,except those mardy bastards Leicester.

As a 13 year old, this is one of the games that stands out.I remember the heavy rain and the pitch being a quagmire,a very rare appearance from reserve goalkeeper Des Thompson, his roll neck woollen jumper was that heavy with mud and rain he could hardly jump.We were run ragged by Storey-Moore and looked dead and buried, but we recovered in the second half and could have won it.Boxing day always produced some memorable games and this was one of them and with cold turkey sandwiches, what more could a boy want.

I remember that day, had a fiver on Fulham to win 9-1. Bastard.
