I think that's exclusive of academy players or similar, not that I can think of anyone obvious that'd threaten the 18

It'll be an interesting one to see what Wilder does, I'm thinking you could move most of the fringe players on and then look to bring in quality in key areas:

- Hendo needs signing and ought not to cost the world in transfer fees
- Think we will need a striker and don't think Madine or Hogan are really the answer for anything other than depth, this is where you could do with spunking munneh - how much to get Mitrovic off Fulham?
- Probably need a centre mid, wouldn't be averse to bringing Dowell back, but only if it's permanent as PL loan spots are limited and we need to use them for the first XI
- Could definitely do with wing back cover, I've said in another thread that Durm from Huddersfield would fit in nicely to our system and likely not be that pricey

That then leaves sensible signings to flesh out the squad which we've seen Wilder to pretty damn well previously - I think the overriding thing is not so much fees, but getting trapped with wages that don't reduce if things go tits up

Exactly, nothing wrong with the team today but we do need a Premiership (quality) striker to give us a shout. As regards Cardiff Warnock did his usual trick he bought 5 players for £32.5m in summer and only Murphy started 21 games and Reid 15 and the other 3 barely played, for that money you need to get it right with quality that will start.

how much to get Mitrovic off Fulham?

I advocated taking Mitrovic about a month ago, unaware that he'd actually signed for Fulham, they spent about 22 million quid on him! There is no doubt he'd do well for us but he'd definitely cost 30 million having proved himself at Prem level and Fulham were throwing the money around so god knows what wages he's on. Sadly think we've missed the boat on this but if he is sold I'd like United to have a crack at signing him, it would be gutting if he went to Burnley who seem to be collecting forwards.

Wilder is very shrewd he will clear out and be honest later this week with those who will be going but will add quality without paying over the odds, we need cover at LB, midfield as I think Lunny will go, pace up front is a must maybe the lad from Hull and a loan from one of the top 6 one of their youngsters maybe, I have faith in Wilder to get it right and keep us up and would love to see Billy bag in the premier league as I have to say he has proved me wrong over the last 18 months and if anything become a better more rounded player
