Putting your realistic hat on and looking at prem league it is daunting prospect to consider which teams might expect to face relegation next year. If our signings fall through it could be worse but I am going for

17. The Mighty Blades
18. Bournemouth
19. Norwich
20. Brighton

First game against Bournemouth a 6 pointer !

Your predictions ?

At the moment, us bottom by some distance, unless we start fucking recruiting.

Sad but true. my Bottom 3 in no particular order are

Newcastle
Brighton
Norwich

When the players start signing I have said to a number of people we will surprise people and be top half by Nov/Dec before getting found out to an extent and falling away, finishing 13-15th (I hope)

Even if we sign no-one, I don't see us being bottom by some distance. I reckon this current squad (maybe with Henderson back to keep the back three/five confident, we could get between 36 and 42 points.

If Maupay and McBurnie come in and we have a Duffy back up/replacement in Freeman or Watkins I think we can comfortably avoid relegation. If we dont sign players of that calibre we are in trouble.

Assuming the former I'm going for Palace, Norwich and Brighton to go down.

I’m hoping “Premier League fatigue” is setting in for the three of Palace, Southampton, Bournemouth, Burnley, Brighton.

That’s our best chance. I think we will amass something between 30-40 points.. high thirties may be enough, low thirties won’t be.

Us, Brighton, Bournemouth, Newcastle, Norwich are the teams I think will be down there.

Southampton, Burnley, Palace have enough to be safe.

This 11 club relegation battle should be fun anyway.

As of now we'll be comfortably last. But if/when players start arriving of a decent quality I can see us narrowly escaping the drop, but not by much.

Agree but the assumption is that Wilder will strengthen us in his impressive way.
The current team = relegation
But based on Wilders past recruitment record, think we’ll comfortably stay up, finish just below mid table.
It’s very premature making any predictions until we know everyone’s teams.

Just my opinion but not sure I see Bournemouth as definitely bottom three candidates. As with us I guess we need to see who clubs sign and who they lose before we can make any real predictions

Before signing anyone :(

17. Don't Care
18. Don't Care
19. Don't Care
20. Blades

After signing awesome players :p

14. Blades
15. Don't Care
16. Don't Care
17. Don't Care
18. Don't Care
19. Don't Care
20. Don't Care

Sides I’m confident we will finish above next season...

Norwich
Bournemouth
Brighton
Palace
Burnley
Southampton

As such I couldn’t care less who’s in the bottom 3.

brighton for me look bad couldn't win a game in league, from 8th December they lost 14 times managed 3 wins all season & only picked up 11pts in 2019 from 18 games

crystal palace only had 2 good players wan bissaka & Zaha they both likely to be been sold by start of season

Can’t understand why people think Bournemouth will drop. They’ve got a strong squad with some good individual players. Benitez leaving Newcastle will definitely benefit us and I can see them struggling.

As of right now mine will be:

18. Norwich
19. Newcastle
20. Brighton

That’s assuming we sign Hendo on loan, a decent striker (McBurnie, Maupay or Rodriguez would be ideal) a Duffy type player not necessarily to replace him but just to rotate him with and another defender. With those additions our starting 11 will give anyone a good game. Obviously I would hope for another 4 or 5 as back up.

As things stand right now, bering in mind things will change before the window shuts .
Three to go down
Us villa and Norwich.
All three need more quality to survive.

As everyone seems to be writing off Brighton, I just want to say how fantastic they are, and that there is absolutely zero possibility of them getting relegated. They'll be much better than us and stay up comfortably.

Nobody has any idea how we’ll do if they’re honest, it’s a whole new ball game. We don’t know who’s coming in yet or who of existing players will struggle, step up to the mark or even excel. The same posters who usually predict that we’ll struggle around this time every preseason are nervous again and some are probably expecting too much but as I said nobody has a clue. We could struggle or even finish top half. Nothing would surprise me under Wilder.

10 wins and a few draws will see us reight
We all know the top 4 will be too strong for us , then up to tenth we’ll nick a few point it’s the ones below that we need to compete against and beat
