Oh FFS, has there ever been a bigger bunch of drama queens than some of our fanbase?
It’s really, really embarrassing. No wonder the “view froms” are like they are.
We do have to remember though there are a fair few sad act WUM’s on here with multiple accounts.
Only come out of the woodwork after a poor result/performance.

Handed the title to Burnley I reckon.. and given Leeds a huge Morale boost.

Our inferior goal difference now means we might have to win at Burnley to finish top 2 … disaster of a result
This

It is indeed a disaster

Really didn’t see this coming - we have just given Leeds a real boost when we could have put our foot on their throats .

Still - we usually go on a 6/7 game run after a defeat - if we do - up we go , in our own hands

Was I expecting us to dip in a game before the end of the season " absolutely " but luckily Leeds dipped as well only problem it causes is the pressure to get something out of burnley away, 6 wins and we're there

It happens at this stage of the season. Still in our hands. Won’t be the last of the “shock” results. I do wish I understood what we’re trying to do in matches though. I honestly can’t fathom our system or style of play. We’re sort of a bit of everything, but not really set up for, or fantastic at anything. We have players too good for this league which largely gets us through. We’re an interesting watch under this version of Wilder, I can’t say it’s particularly entertaining but we find ways to win.

Wilder said the other week we can go through teams, round them or over them and I can’t help but feel that comes across as indecision on the pitch…

We should be capable of winning all our games, including today till end of season, but we're Sheff utd I guess it doesn't work that way

Just don’t get why people react like this. It was just one of them days, you could tell early on it wasn’t going to be today
Fucking hell! Oxford were absolutely shite! We did fuck all from the first minute till the end! Yes we're not going to win them all but ffs! Turning out a piss poor performance like that's a worry!

It was one of the most horrible games I've watched in a long time. Fair play to Oxford - they played to their strengths and limited us to scraps. We lacked the invention to create meaningful chances.

I get that, we weren’t very good at all yesterday, too many people were off it, hamer mainly in my opinion.

But when their keeper stopped the Burrows and Campbell chances in the first half I just knew how it was going to go.

No point in giving up yet, Burnley might not lose between now and the end of the season, but Leeds will. Also I remember when we lost to Bristol and drew with Burnley in the 18/19 season and everyone gave up then, but we still did it

Today’s performance: wank
Season overall: superb
Pathetic idiots overacting to one result: hilarious
Let me remind you we are coming to the time of the season now where one mistake like yesterday could be costly.
Any neutral looking at the remaining fixtures would now have us 3rd favourites from favourites to go up after yesterday's shocker.
The game that will kill our hopes of automatic is Burnley away, there is nothing in our previous games against the other two sides fighting it out at the top that suggests we could get a result there.

Yesterday was disappointing particularly because of the brilliant Coventry performance and it made the journey home seem longer. A lost opportunity but that's it, we're still in it.

Wilders good, but he’s not good enough.

Time to drop the “he’s one of our own” “if we get promoted he’s earned his chance at PL” etc. he’s not of the modern age of football, he’s not tactically aware, he can only manage players trying to make it or revive their careers. He’s not a manager that could inspire proven talent or hold on to real developing gems.

IF we get promoted owners need to strip club bare, honour our history but put it in the empty trophy cabinet and give us a new modern identity and that starts with a new management team fit for purpose in the PL.

Miss the opportunity like we did yesterday and we’ll be trawling lower leagues and watching Wilder full of Peroni singing BBC songs for years to come.

I think yesterday was one of the most important losses in our history. Our destiny was in our own hands for once to win the championship for the first time in our history, get promoted to the PL and utilise the power and ambition of new owners and Wilders tactics and motivation came up so short it was infuriating. He blew it to Oxford United who hadn’t won in 11.

More of the same or a new dawn? Make your choice owners.

Mate we've both been Blades long enough to know loving this team brings us general disappointment and a regular kick in the bollocks

Oh we ain't got a barrel of money and greasy chip butty suggests that nobody wants a more modern sophisticated approach to Sheffield United

Actually agree if we do go up I don't think cw is up for the premier league (as much as he'll be up there with Harris, Basset and porterfield for me )
We need a new direction especially with all the investment in academy's and scouting, Chris seems to have a very blinkered view sometimes on players
