So you were calling us bottle jobs yet claiming we have backbone and now saying regardless of being bottle jobs we are going up as champions.

I don't mean to specifically pick you out but it's a prime example of the reactionary nonsense football fans are full of 🤣

Yes it's emotional rather than taking a pragmatic view :)

I'm constantly surprised by people who watch this team every week, then seem surprised when (especially away from home) they play slow, risk free, pragmatic football and rely on having more individual quality than the opposition.

The only difference between yesterday and the vast majority of other away games this season is the opposition scored first.

Taking on as little risk as possible is a legitimate strategy (one I dislike as a supporter but I don't get paid by the result) but making games into low quality, low score affairs does mean that a team like Oxford, managed by someone who revels in this sort of game has a better chance to beat you than if you made it unopened, attacking game.

There's only so many 1 score games you can win before you hit a day when, eventually the opposition has the coin land in the side they choose.

Yes we failed to capitalise on Leeds draw at Luton, but we are still ahead and 1 more game is ticked off, we go again against Millwall, Leeds have to get a result at Middlesbrough and that won't be easy, Im disregarding Burnley they will win the league, they hardly ever concede and they hardly ever lose which is a decent formula for success it's a 2 horse race now for 1 place

It just shows the gulf that the Championship has to the Premier......players and manager ?

When we played the top sides and most of the alsorans in the Premier we resorted to playing a ten man defence (low block 😆) like Oxford did in the second half yesterday.....only we used to get hammered by the likes of Arsenal..Brighton..Newcastle etc......whereas yesterday we did'nt have a clue how to break Oxford down and could have still been playing now thru the the night and would still not have scored.

There is always a bump in the road when you support the Blades. I think div 1 champ season was the smoothest we have ever been but i do not think we should be shitting the bed just yet. One game at a time, and all that malarkey. Stay strong!
It amazes me how quick people turn on each other on this forum, football is all about opinions, we are all allowed to have them. Peace and love to all.
Looking forward to the "shut up you twat" comments coming this way......🤪

Massive over reaction. A few players were off Saturday hence we couldn’t turn overwhelming possession into goals. Campbell, Hamer, Peck all had their worst games for a while, it happens.
