If he was used as a winger at Boro that’s a very different ask to what he needs to do for us.

Wing back is a weird position. Wayne Quinn and Kieron Freeman were seen as useless at other clubs (and here in a 442), but were both tremendous at wingback for us.

Whatever happens I think he’ll be better offensively than Lafferty.

We knew Boro fans thought he was crap before these views came out to be fair. I text my maye who supports the Boro and he said Johnson is decent, and will be a popular player for, he expects Johnson to start for us if he plays like he can.

Its promising from the views you got Roy that he has had his best football as a full back, albeit at Oxford. He should cope with wing back if he was previously a full back but the info I got was that he's good going forward but not so good defensively.
