That is the date he said we would have the team back in for pre season training and therefore the date by which he said he wanted to have his targets in by. Then it was the next week, 2 weeks ago and so on and so on. Go ahead and deny it, act like a child. Do as you will.

If you really want to find out, go ahead and listen to the hours of Chris Wilder interviews on the bbc radio Sheffield page. I for one can't be arsed to dig it out for you, but I can tell you the players reported back after the summer break on the 23rd/24th of June whether they trained then or not. In Wilder's early interviews he stated he wanted his targets in by then. I don't blame him for not being able to get them. As said in an earlier post his hands are tied firmly behind his back.

Its utterly unrealistic to get in 6 to 8 decent , better than what we had players by June 23RD

They can concentrate on putting the final touches to their squad, while we haven't even got a bloody side to put out, never mind a squad.
If it was unrealistic to get our squad completed for the return of pre season, why did the manager say it?

Yesterday, I had a gander at the players on the books of the teams who got relegated. I could easily see two of them going up.

I looked at what we have got. Hussey Brayford basham done Duffy Adams sharp to name a few and thought the same

It's all on if's and but's. Charlton have a decent squad but theres a lot of infighting, the fans can't stand the owners - will that reflect on the pitch? Plus, has Russell Slade got it in him to win promotion?
Bolton could be pretty good if they get their house in order under the new owners and manager because the infrastructure is there.

MK I fancy. Good team, good manager and money to spend.
