To summarise, we have the easiest of the three. It really is in our hands and to chuck this away from here would begger belief, even by our standards.

Arguably Scunnys looks the hardest run in, although they play an even 6 home 6 away

Fleetwood similar with 6 home ad 6 away games to play

Bolton have 8 away and 5 at home and we have 7 visits and 5 at home

Next 3 or 4 games will be defining

There is that little thing called scoreboard pressure at the moment it is hugely in our favour.

However we really could do with that Rochdale game going ahead and winning it, otherwise our next game is that tricky looking trip to Oxford which is the only away fixture I think could be a loss.

It's conceivable that by the time we play Swindon Fleetwood could be only a point behind us... but of course to do that they would have to beat both Scunny and Bolton keeping us pretty secure for second at least.

Top two looks good now barring a disasters collapse in form, Champions would be sweet but it's not the overriding priority.

Agree!
Would love to be champs, but any way out of this fecking league will do for me. As long as it's upwards. :)

Personally I'll be highly disappointed if we don't get to celebrate promotion at Wembley in the Play Off Final. Surely that's the best way to get out of this league - in front of 50k Blades at the "home of football".

:-)

BWFC have some very tough away games, Fleetwood, Gills, Oxford, Southend and Scunny are all very tough fixtures.

Only Mighty Blades, Fleetwood and Bolton left for autos, Scunthorpe have gone as far as we're concerned. I suppose they could still snatch second, but they won't catch us.

And the guy's name is Peter Swan(n) ? With a name like that he must be telling the truth, and we can all believe anything he says :)

All potential banana skins, with all the infighting at Bolton they're in serious danger of slipping out of the PO all together.
Every game is a "potential banana skin"

I don't subscribe to degrees of hardness.

If you don't turn up you'll get turned over, whoever you're playing or whoever you are.

As true as some of the teams we have to play are scrapping in a relegation battle which could go against us, hopefully the quality we've shown all season will see us through.

Scunny have to get 1.1 points per game more than the Blades, which is effectively 2 points more per game from 6 matches.

Unless we collapse even beyond the capabilites of United at their best (!!) you are right, its US Fleetwood or Bolt-on

It's the easiest because we're the best........It's OK everbody says so.

Really good win for Scunny tonight. Pure desire & determination to win it so late.

(Can appreciate it now they've fucked up so badly, & fallen so far back :D )
