Bolton away trains?

Hey up blades,just wanted to know what's what on a Saturday with trains to either bolton or preferably horwich parkway,obviously sheffield to Manchester but it keeps comming up that its buses only from Manchester to bolton,anybody any idea how come or why theres no trains?

Yep - replacement buses from Manchester to Bolton and Horwich Parkway. It's put me off going a bit, still undecided.

My daughter lives in Bolton and I can't remember the last time she came to watch the Blades when she wasn't delayed due to buses replacing the trains. Dreadful service.

An English Championship club.

So it's completely fine.

The average ticket price seems to have crept up.

We shouldn't have to pay more than £20 for games at this level.

Is the problem that the buses get stuck on the railway lines?

The way I read it was that there are trains to Horwich but a replacement bus service to Manchester Piccadilly afterwards, taking about 1 hour 20. But don't quote me on that.
